I think they removed the arseniuc from the PT lumber several years ago.

I work in a smoke analysis lab and we've done e-cig tests for lots of parameters including carbonyls (Formaldehyd, Acetaldehyde, Acroleine, Acetone,.....) and guess what we found. If we found anything, the levels where ridiculously low.
I also read other reports from other labs and nobody finds any concentrations worth mentioning.
To me, this case is closed.

Ok, to be fair there is one study which found Formadehyde. They used an old clearo, which still had those top coils with the wicks hanging down, on a Spinner and used different Volts.
Up to 3,6 Volts no Formaldehyde, above they found some. But yeah, who throws 4+ Volts on such an atty and keeps on vaping like that?
Bottom like, if you use your atty the right way and dont take dry hit after dry hit, your exposure to Formaldehyde is very low at worst.

Not saying you are wrong, but can you provide a link or a shred of evidence of this study?

That doesn't sound like any legitimate scientific study I've ever heard.

Burn anything and it will likely produce a small amount. Point is, the liquid keeps everything from burning until it runs out or can't keep up with temps. Aka, dry hit or lung scalding, paint peeling temps.

The kind of temperature it would require NO ONE WOULD VAPE AT! Because IT WOULD BURN THE WICK!

We're not "smoking machines" which can take any temperature; we're human beings, with pain nerves and tastebuds.

Sorry, I always shout when someone is just not getting it. :D I live with a man who's very nearly deaf (because he "didn't need no stinking OSHA!" and never wore ear protection in all the factories he's worked in).

Understood. But you can get dry hit at low temperatures, and that's only an indication that wick is dry. But it doesn't mean that you inhaled formaldehyde.
Victor--just to be clear--formaldehyde Is NOT a byproduct of burning PG or VG at high temperatures!!

Confused. Than it's byproduct of what?
