hi the cool blast was very good. Also when I bought from V2 their green tea menthol was great. I still have some left but will be out of it soon, so will be hunting for that. I use a refillable cartomizer as I feel that I still need the physical sensation of smoking a regular cig.

You live in New York, correct? I thought flavored eliquids were banned there. If you live elsewhere, please disregard this post.

that's correct. I was able to purchase them before the ban took affect in May.

I just vaped through the withdrawals.

Even with e-cigarettes you'll go through some withdrawals as there are far more chemicals in cigarettes that your withdrawing from. It's a matter of getting through that initial stage, then you won't want a cigarette again...

So while e-cigarettes can curb the desire, they won't end it 100% until you get through that initial stage. That means its still a mental game, and it takes willpower too.

You will find intense cravings only last a few minutes at a time, and chain vaping through those minutes is helpful... just power through and you'll rise above.

Sooner rather than later you'll realize you really are a non-smoker, and your body will thank you.

Don't forget that smoking is also mental. There's the smoking rituals we go through. I believe that smoking is almost as strong of a mental addiction as it is physical. That's why your brain is telling you to smoke when you are getting the nicotine you need from vaping. Your brain is wired to smoke.

If you are getting the level of nicotine you need (and if you aren't, then up the nicotine) you aren't going to turn into a puddle of water if you don't smoke. When your brain says, "Smoke"...tell it to pound sand and vape more.

Understand that this may last a while but if you stick with it you can do it without smoking. Remember...you ARE getting the nicotine.

Welcome to ecf. You'll be glad you did this.

There's a forum on this website for dual users which you'll find helpful.

One way to reduce relapses is to switch cigarette brands. Brand loyalty is an addiction in and of itself and smoking a brand you wouldn't normally smoke takes a lot of the reward out of the experience. It's even better if you only smoke half the cigarette and pick it up the next time you need to. Vape before and after (if possible).

Hello and welcome! Vaping got me from a pack a day down to 5 a day... then finally quit. Unfortunately (after many months) slipped back into dual use (long story) but I really love vaping and want to quit the nasties again. I would check into doing DIY (make your own e-juice) Much cheaper and fun hobby to get into (if you can get the nicotine... not sure if you can?)
