I only do that in posts where people are specifically asking what ecig they should get. I'm sorry if it comes off as advertisement and it seems that I say the same thing but I am trying to get my point across. The 510 is great if you don't mind the hassles of dripping, topping off carts and cleaning out the attys. Or buy an odd looking mod to make it perform. Lots of people love the 510, there are lots of people who don't for the same reason. I am simply trying to help people decide by pointing out the differences before they invest 100's of dollars.

If I am guilty of anything, it is of over enthusiasm lol. I will tell you this. I bought the 510 from TW and thought this was it. I bought 2 complete starter kits for my brother in laws to get them off smokes (probably almost $400 in kits and carts and extras) and spent about $300 for carts and extras for myself. They I found that it was too much work for me and was quickly losing interest and thinking about smoking again.

Then I discovered the VK from some other over enthusastic person who was thrilled to finally find something that worked easily and tasted great. I gave it a try and all the 510 stuff is gathering dust. (I actually have been sending parts and carts to people who seem to like the 510 and sound like they could use some help for free) I still have the 2 unopened titans sets with PCCs because I decided to get VK for my brother in laws too! I also bought kits for my sister and aunt.

In fact, if anyone wants to try the manual VaporKing and doesn't love it, I would gladly trade them the Titan 510 kits with all the extras too! ;) And that is a bonafide offer! They are black manuals starter kits and look very sharp. Also titanium pcc with titaniam manual battery and atty, and I will even throw in some titan black mega batteries never opened and lots of carts.

So while I am overenthusiastic perhaps, I definately put my money where my mouth is lol! :pervy:

Happy vaping in whatever you use!

I was also referred to VK by another enthusist. The product and service at V4L is TOP Notch. Period.

Giantfan, good to see you are looking at alternatives to starting on the analogs again!

I was a 2 pack a day Red's smoker for 30 years. I haven't had one since I made the switch. No cravings either, but I'm using high NIC juice.

Though vaping is a lot different than analogs, the end result is the same, to satisfy the nic cravings. Though you haven't smoked for some time, you are experiencing triggers. Nicotine alters receptors in your brain over time, (almost similar to ......), and people that have quit for 20+ years, still experience these triggers.

Someone mentioned 0 - low NIC juice for you. Your doctor is going to advise against any form of nicotine, (It's their job! :)
I would recommend starting with a medium NIC juice. I think it will take that strength to eliminate your cravings. Your body will tell you if you've had enough NIC.

One thing I would suggest, is to get away from the tobacco like flavors. That is where vaping is so much different. The available flavors are simply amazing! I've been trying a lot of flavors from Dawn at DIYFlavorShack, and just put in a sampler order w/ Ms. T's... Both of these juice suppliers have a lot of rave reviews here. Crazy flavors like Bananas Foster Coffee. Your taste buds will thank you for trying some of these. I'm finishing up a 10ml bottle of Chocolate Mint Banana Float currently. The stuff is so damn good, it's crazy.

As for the one's touting different e-cigs/companies. Some tout a two piece, and talk about the hassles of filling carts for a 510, and then in the same paragraph, they mention refilling cartomizers (Too funny)..... Keeping my hands busy is part of the substitution factor for me. Takes me 30 seconds to top off a 510 cart, and resume vaping. No big deal!

Good luck staying strong!

And don't get discouraged if you don't find the flavors you first get satisfying. I've found some good ones, but I've only tried a couple of flavors. I just started, too and I know that my perfect flavor is out there. Sometimes it takes buying a bunch of samples (which I haven't done yet, Christmas time, ya know?). I have a 510, and I like it, but I am still smoking analogs, though not nearly as much. I'm definitely going to get a mod after all the holiday buzz is over with to see if that satisfies my craving better.
