I am a former smoker, I quit after almost 20 years when my husband and I decided to have a baby. He is now almost a year old and I find myself obsessing over smoking, I miss it! I am thinking of buying e-cigs in the non nicotine to help me with my newfound cravings and to keep me from starting up again. Has anyone used them for this purpose and did it work? I'm also a little scared that if I start vaping with these it will make me want to start up again even more...
TIA for any help

I'll give a 3rd..

There is a learning curve with Ecigs, and that will likely frustrate you even more...

It's one thing to be currently smoking, and go through the learning curve of Ecigs.

But to have already quit for a year, and you're already craving cigs, Ecigs will probably frustrate you even more.

Sorry. Try chewing gum, butterscotch candies, kickboxing...LOL..

If you do reach the point where you don't have the strength to control your cravings anymore, ecigs is definately a better choice then analogs.
But its best not to start at all.

I recommend that when you feel this cravings, you go do something that you know gives you a rewarding feeling - any hobby you may have, taking care of a pet, or simply covering social needs by phoning a friend or relative. It's not possible for me be more specific about the activity because I don't know you at all, but I hope you get what I mean.

I'm going to give a different perspective.

Time and again I've read testimonies from women who quit before/during/after pregnancies but started smoking again after that. It's a story I see repeatedly. If you think that's a possibility - that you'll pick up a cigarette - then I would order an e-cig and vaping supplies (zero nicotine level) and keep them on hand to head the cravings off at the pass.

My two cents.
