I doubt that the contents or consistancy of your juice is your problem.

Either you are not filling your delivery device correctly or you are using the wrong resistance.

It would help if we knew exactly what equipment that you are using to better guide you. What battery device are you using and what juice delivery devices are you putting your juice in?

The best solution for chainvapers is to have several PVs in constant rotation.

That said, look for 90/10, 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG ratios--those are usually less viscous and move through your topper faster. Also, look for clean, clear ejuices that won't clog your coils as easily as the dark, sweet, gooey ejuices will.

And, like Evil just mentioned, keep your device clean--what heads are you using, anyway?

Hi, I just wanted to know how long the atomizer should last. I got a DCT tank and for a few days it seemed like I had found what I was looking for but now it has a funny kind of taste and smell. Like it is burnt. I don't know much about these. I am using a egov but think maybe I should just go back to my starter kit until I can learn more. Thanks.

I skipped over the t3 line unfortunately but there are similarities. Prime the wick using fluid before the initial burn to help the flow get started also if you start tasting burnt take a few 1-3 second drags to ensure the wick in the coil has juice to it. After rebuilding Protanks atomizers I'm not a fan of the stock coil wire/silica and find once rebuilt with 32g kanthal and using simple peaches and cream 100% cotton from walmart (yes, walmart) it does indeed work better with better taste and fluid absorption. The only downside is you can not dry burn it like silica wicks. Cleaning and rebuilding are very simple and isn't overwhelming at all. With the stock wick remove the post and dry burn until the coils heat red evenly to remove any build up from the wire might also help you out without rebuilding.

I have a standard 1100mah ego batt not vv or vw so i think its 3.7v with a kanger t3 at 1.8ohm starts off good but after a day get burnt taste

If it's an eGo battery it is 3.3v, so 1.8 to 2.2Ω atties are fine. If you're using T3s, take a few primer puffs (gentle puffs without activating your battery) now and then--this removes any air bubbles from the tank and forces eliquid to flow to the coil!

Good luck and happy vaping!

A carto tank should be treated just like a plain cartomizer--because that's what it is. A cartomizer is disposable--as soon as you detect a change in taste or vapor production, you should put a fresh carto in. If a carto tastes burnt, it is burnt. It has to go. But if a carto in a tank burns, it suggests to me that the coil is dry--your juice may be too thick or the holes in your cartomizer are too small (or you don't have enough of them.

I would also suggest switching to single coil cartomizers--for a variety of reasons.

Good luck!

I'd like to Welcome you to ECF. And the first thing you HAVE TO REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are no stupid questions, just concerns and the want of information. If I hit my T3's really fast and hard I can burn them with no problem. Slow down and try to savor the flavor of the vape. It makes sense once you learn this procedure. Slow and steady. We're not in a race to vape. We vape to enjoy the day.
Good luck my friend.

If your carto is the thing in the tank.... since my tastes bad and I need to change it. Do you just clean out the rest of the juice in the take or can I save it and just slide in a new carto? Seems like a lot to waste.

Your juice probably tastes bad also, as I suspect that some of the burnt gunk has already been transferred into the juice in the tank. If you have a different head--a dripping atty or a small clearomizer somewhere, test your juice in that. If it tastes burnt, it has to go. Sorry.

A lot of that depends on the type of carto/tank your using. I only have IB Tanks and Phiniac tanks. All pyrex glass. No flanges or anything else but the "O" rings. I can put on a "Slap you mamma" tank filler and change carto's and not spill a drop of juice, when I change mine out.
Slap Yo' Mama Adapter : Big Daddy Vapor
Just prime the carto properly and insert the tool, slip the old one out from the bottom going to the top. when you get enough room then insert the tank filler and keep going till the old one pops out.
'WARNING THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH A FLANGED CARTO"
I also only use the 35mm cartos. I like the size and the look of them on my devices.
