Forum Clean-up

This isn't predicated by ECF proper, but we're trying to teach Beau/Nick good forum maintenance habits. I confess, I am sloppy... don't want them to learn from my bad habits. We're going to be much more diligent (going forward) about trying to ensure that the content in the forum is in some way connected to Nicoticket. If we get off track - I know myself, Katy, Beau, and Nick would be appreciative if you help make us aware of it.

My great battery hunt thread was deleted, got the help I needed before it was closed though.

Milo's inquiry regarding Stingray thread was deleted, he got the help he needed before it was closed.

One REO thread was moved to the REO forum.



We're not going mod happy or anything, just trying to keep the house in order. <3 Zing!

We understand (and generally don't get ....-hurt) about threads getting derailed... this whole forum is derailed, even outside our little corner of the ECF universe. That said - we want to make ECF as helpful and as easy to navigate without busting the velvet hammer out too often. So, use your best judgement, be yourself, etc.

As far as enabling, enable away... you can't really enjoy Nicoticket eLiquid without batteries, or without a mod, or without hardware of some kind... again, best judgement. LMAO It's less about "ECF coming down on us" and more about "curating a forum that is helpful to everyone."

One suggestion to help balance the chit chat, and the helpfulness would be when someone pops into a thread of a specified topic and asks a question on the topic, just be mindful to acknowledge or answer them. I've seen several huge threads get so off track that, when a topic question comes up it's often ignored.

With the multiquote feature, it should be easy to accomplish.

Not trying to be a thorn here, but what I have always loved most about the NT forum is that everyone has been friendly and helpful with my vape journey which often times was hardware related but applicable with my juice so to speak. I can look back at threads for a LONG time ago about how my kayfun at the time wasn't tasting right with beetlejuice etc and got the BEST advice ever. And typically when I would post something here it was a last resort because no one would help me in the any other forum where I posted it. I get what you are saying - I'm just saying that the ONLY reason I have even considered as of lately donating to ECF is BECAUSE of NT. And I did all the call of action stuff because of NT. The "rebuildable" forum....it was almost like you had to have a secret code. I would post questions there and somehow 250 people viewed it but only 1 person, who never even owned the hardware I was asking about would comment. I don't know what I'm saying other than I probably wouldn't even be on ECF if it wasn't for the NT forum.

With that said I will follow the rules because I'm definitely not a rule breaker. But, I think part of the comradery and "family" has been to help people with their vape journey as well as suggesting juices to buy. Just my 2 cents.

I agree. Im sure Clark can weigh in on what is acceptable and what is not. Sounds like its a thin line that can be stretched a little

It's all about positioning with topics and appropriateness.

For instance, I'd feel that asking for help getting "this NT juice" to taste right in this tank, with this setup, would be a very valid topic.

Or like... I Vape so much NT juice that I toast all my AW 18650 batteries, so what would be a larger one?

I'd continue to make arguments that I'm seeking help making this setup for this juice, because were in the juice's forum. Just keep looping NT in.
