Occasionally I get this error when using new posts, I refresh the page and the page loads fine. My setting are correct based on the error message and I haven't changed anything on my PC since the new site went up.

It's not really an issue just more of a pain.

Best option there is to stop using Internet Exploder.

Perhaps for other reasons.... but the page can't be displayed error happens in Chrome also, although not as much as when the new forum was first deployed... the issue is a forum caused problem seen after making a new post and sometimes after editing one.

If the browser has the option, ensure SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 is also checked in the browser's advanced settings.

retired1, thank you for the suggestions but that was tried prior to posting here. I do receive the same error across multiple browsers. I frequent several forums and own one myself and this is the only forum where I receive this message.

I can live with it but it is a pain and there is a problem with the site.

Thanks, Robino, I didn't hear about that. My browser is giving me the option of either continuing to block or to allow. I haven't done either yet because I wanted to find out first what was going on.

I started seeing that Flash thing yesterday too; I just told it to go ahead and load Flash; you can't watch videos or see the live weather map on weatherchannel.com without it!

Andria

That's strange, Andria, because I've been watching and listening to YouTube videos this morning and it isn't affecting them.

There is no fix for the Flash issue as yet. The vulnerability that has caused Mozilla to block flash was a previously unknown issue which is already being exploited in the wild.

It's recommended that you leave it disabled. (Yes, it's that serious of an issue.)
