I keep seeing "you have insufficient privileges to post here" messages around ecf, which I find terribly strange and confusing because I'm a "super member" and an "ecf veteran", so can anyone tell me what's going on/what's the deal?? Pretty please with looper on top lol

Generally, that'll be a locked thread, or a forum where you do not have posting permissions.

Am I the only one having problems with a slow ecf? For the second time in about a week the little rotating dots in the upper left corner just spin and spin before it loads a page. I'm running W10, and using the MS Edge browser. ECF is the only thing giving me problems.

I've had a forum issue regarding lack of wins in the recent ECF-wide contests. If possible I would like to see a forum upgrade or add-on that will pick me as a winner in the current contest.

Here is one data point of no speed problems. (Chrome on Chromebook, Brighthouse Networks cable inet connection.)

Just a little bit a few days ago. Win7, FF, Adblock. I always pop my taskmanager open to see if anything else is running in the background. Win10 might be forcing updates.

Give it time. You will have more problems. Had about six machines in the shop two weeks ago for Windows 10-related issues.

I don't hate Windows at all! I'm a fan of it just as I am OS X and Linux but Windows 10, while a good OS, is mired with issues.

No, tis not just you I'm finding at the moment I can zip around the forum if I'm not logged in, but once I log in the problem starts

ETA - for me, it's definitely a problem with being logged in. I logged out and was able to jump around the forum OK, logged back in and couldn't get anywhere. I've had to log out, come back to this thread and log in again to edit
