Forum Notification Question

Is there a way to be notified when someone replies to your post? Not when they reply to your thread, but when someone replies to your post in a thread.

when he quotes you, like i just did, than you'll be notified.. usually. if not check settings

But if you subscribe to an entire thread does that mean you get notified of every single post?

If you subscribe to the thread you have many options as to how you are notified. You can get a daily digest of all posts (or individual posts) sent to your email. There are other options as well.

I was wondering the same as a forum newbie in general. I'm too used to the luxury of push notifs and such.

Unfortunately, no, vBulletin doesn't support this.

However, the new software we're going to convert to soon does support notifications whenever you're quoted in a post.

I was not notified when you quoted me. Most forums will do what you said.

i got notified.. i use tapatalk though. i might have missed the point. are you guys talking about forum notification via web browser?

then you'll be notified via mail. but not sure what you can define via web browser..
