I have 6 posts and I still cannot post outside of new member. I tried to private message the mod who created the thread but I do not have access to pm either. Anyone else having the same problem?

Give the server time to catch up. Updates usually at the bottom of the hour. Almost there.
25 minutes after the hour.....EVERY hour the server resets. You should be good to go explore 
the server cron jobs (automated tasks for the forum) run around 25 minutes after the hour so any time you have to wait for something that is what you are waiting on.
