I have a titan 510. Used carts i got with kit, which worked fine, and am filling my own carts but having trouble getting a drag from them. Got a couple of new atomizers with no better result. I watched a video about filling. I am putting 5 drops in before the poly-fil fibre, putting the fibre in and adding 2 drops. I get a couple of good hits and then hardly anything. anybody know what i'm doing wrong?

Hi Folks,

My name is Bill and I'm a vape-a-holic! I bought my first kit about 2.5 weeks ago and absolutely love it. I didn't think this was going to be for me, but I found this forum and have read so much great information and have learned so much.

I have found, like others here, that I have to make a real effort to not vape constantly for 24 hours per day! :) I also thought this was going to be less expensive than analogs. Especially here where a pack goes for about $8.50 BUT I've purchased a couple of kits, several spare batteries, e-juice, Kensington and APC power packs, USB pass-thru, a couple of hundred cartridges, PG and VG and a bunch of other things I had never heard of until joining this forum!

I originally though I would use this to quick smoking 100% but I find that I am really enjoying this and feel great that I have made the decision to "get my fix" in a less harmful method than analogs.

Anyway, thanks to everyone that posts here for all of the great information and recommendations and especially to everyone that has signed the petition and are trying to ensure that the FDA doesn't take this alternative away from us!

This is my first post! woohoo. I have been lurking for a month now. This forum has been a great help in choosing everything. Love my Kissbox, Dura-
c and 901. My favorite liquids are JC vanilla and his Kona Coffee and unlike others I have had very good shipping time (maybe a couple of days later than others). I have just ordered zero nic juices so I can continue vapeing and not go into a nicotine coma.

Thanks for everyones help.

Well my shipment from Truman ECig (direct from China) arrived two days after my post here on the 24th. It was almost right. There were two problems. The first is that the power cord for the charger has a male plug I've never seen before. The two round posts are spaced a little wider than the slots in a US wall outlet. I suspect they shipped me a European charger cord. I have other chargers (two) from NJoy which seem to be the same thing with the correct cord so I'll probably just let it go. I think the difficulty of resolving this long-distance is greater than the inconvenience, however, I glad this wasn't my first ever purchase. I'd be stuck with no way to charge the sucker!

Along with my kit and some smoke juice, I ordered a spare atomizer. The one they sent is just a fraction larger in diameter and the cartridge sleeves do not fit over it. The protective sleeve it came shipped with is sloppy on my other atomizers and of course has no juice cup inside it. The only way I can use this is to direct drip onto it.

Again, I wonder if it's worth it to try to get the situation righted. Can someone shed light on effectiveness of resolving such issues?

Yes it is a Euro plug. You can get an adapter at Radio Shack for about $3 I think. Would be less hassle than waiting for them to send one. New atomizers are shipped with "primer fluid" in them to keep them moist and functional during the shipping period. The wetness in the baggie is primer. Atomizers are also shipped with only a "mouthpiece" on them... no cartridge because you are supposed to buy cartridges (or they came with the starter kit) and then re-use them. You should watch my video "Intro to Vaping" it is about an hour but will help you a lot.

That sounds like you should be fitting a lot more juice. 10-15 drops at least I think (anyone care to correct me if I am wrong?) but you nuust also be aware that manual switches get hotter and burn juice MUCH faster!

Hi, I want have been thinking of switching to e cigs, been doing some research. Blu cigs look cool, i like what u get in the starter kit. anyway i have some questions, and since i can't post a new topic, i guess i will try to ask here.
-If anyone is familliar with Marlboro 27's, is there an electronic substitute? I ask this because i am very particular to this brand, Camel Turkish Roayls are okay, but reds and mediums taste like ... and lights are too light and also taste like ....
-And what menthol strength do you think 27s equate to?
-e liquid, can that be used with any eCig? the Blu cig in particular.

Thanks, Spikey, for the info. I might check out Radio Shack but I don't even really need it. I bought this kit basically to have spare parts for my NJoy NPro at a much better price, $28 for the kit!

I knew that. What I am saying is that the atomizer they shipped for the extra I ordered is not the same size or style. It is slightly larger than the others and no cartridges slide onto it. The "mouthpiece" is therefore a sloppy fit on my original atomizers. The threaded end is compatible with the battery, however, so I can drip on this and use the "Mouthpiece" that came with it as cartridge mouthpieces are too small. My other atomizers have the heating coil recessed in the metal tube and in this one the coil arch sticks up above the atomizer tube.

I have watched it. Yes, all the way through. :) You did a nice job on it and we all appreciate such efforts while we are in our learning stage. The problem is that these are very similar parts but not identical. Somebody in shipping just grabbed the wrong one. I won't lose sleep over it, nor rant --- The $5.50 part is not worth aggravation.

Hi my name is Patti. I am 58 and SO lost. I've been reading a LOT and cant decide, can someone help please. I am trying to quit smoking and I feel if I have an ecig because of the draw, and the feel in my hand it will help me. But heres the problem, I want a GOOD eCig not junk or something I have to return to get repaired. Fast service means alot too.
Is there any places where you can walk in and buy eCigs? Im in Ohio about an hour and a half from Columbus, half hour from Mansfield..

I get so confused :( on types because when I see someone write a type that is good, I wish they would put an url or where they bought it.
Thanks for the help
Patti

Thanks effigi. Wish I had waited to see replies. I have went ahead and ordered the DSE901 starter kit. Wheres a really good place for cartridges that are already flavored like the Dr. Pepper etc? Thanks so much, cant wait to get started.

The 901 is a good starter kit. For the cartridges, most are prefilled with a tobacco flavored juice. Most users buy the juice and refill the cartridges. I would check out several suppliers to see which flavors are available. Cartridges coming with flavors- I am not sure if a supplier carries them. I do know that LiquidXpress Hompage has the 23 flavor (dr.pepper), however it is 36mg (high nicotine level). I have some of this and it tastes very close to the real thing. Good luck and if you have any questions, this forum is here for you!

Patti, I can recommend a joye 510.
I have bought 4 kits and am thinking of stocking up some more. I give some to friends and family. I am really impressed with this e-cig.

Widows Bead Work - E-cig

Check this site out, really good prices.

Love that site. I'm a bead artist and will be making some of those bead e-cig holders. I think I'll make a couple tonight.

Well I just heard about these today. My son is in the Navy and they are really pushing them to try these.
He sent me a link and I have been searching for 3 hours. I just found this site and I am totally looking forward to learning more. I have been smoking for 32 years and I hate it.
My kids said that they wouldn't mind me using these around their children but prefer me to not even smell like a regular cig around them.
As a gramma who loves her grandbabies I will do anything for them.
So off I go to learn all I can.

Good luck TeddieS. I have smoked for over 40 years and since I first tried these I've not had an analog. I tried the patches, the gum, the lozenges and different med's available and nothing worked until now. I'm thrilled!

Hello everyone i have just started with this e-smoking. All my family members that have died has been from cancer and i now am starting to get concerned about my health. Just turned 47 and have been smoking since 12 years old. Currently 1.5 packs a day. I just started a distributing e-cigs and hope it not only helps me but also others to quit the analog cigs. I am interested in joining this site as a distributor and hope to learn how i can make sure i am registered as such. Looking forward to hearing from all of you and sharing our experiences.

You people are all evil.

I was just introduced to the e-cig phenomenon three days ago, have ordered my first and am reading this forum like a drowning woman because I can't stand the wait. E-cigarette-forum.com is keeping me from sleeping!!! ;>

In any case, I did try to search to see if anyone had good (or bad) experiences with the NJ Smokes company and could not find results. Please let me know if you have experience with them--it seems that they're taking forever to fill my order (but could be because e-cigs are suddenly so popular?).

Thanks all for being here and being so repeatedly helpful to us newbies and our seemingly endless questions.
