How do I get email notification if someone responds to a thread I posted in? I don't join forums often but the ones I do join usually send out this email notification. I looked in the cp but didn't figure it out. Sorry if it's easy and I'm just being a dumbo! I've lost track of a conversation I wanted to go back to

Well, I may be wrong but I don't think you get a message if someone respond to your post.
You can send a message to a member though.
Go to UserCP--left hand corner of blue bar.

Hi Pandora! Just above the thread look for the header "Thread Tools" and click on the down arrow. Select "Subscribe to this thread" and then you get to choose how you want to be notified.

Pandora, I just go to quick search and click on "your posts" if I lose a thread. That brings up your posts in decending order from last post to first post. You can back track that way.

Pandora - click on "User CP" (top ribbon bar of this forum - on the left).

Under the Settings & Options menu along the left side of the page click on "Edit Options".

Scroll down until you come to "Default Thread Subscription Mode" - select "Instant email notification".

Then click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

Now every thread you have a post in from this point on you will get an email notification.

As with Mary Kay (beautiful pic), I do appear in my avatar. I'm just hard to pick out due to the distance from which the photo was taken. Be very glad. It's not pretty.
