Found a 5V DC / 2000 mAh wall wart while cleaning up the basement

Can I use it as a 510 5V passthrough power source? Sounds like the perfect amount of voltage and power based on what I've read about USB passthroughs. I have a Totally Wicked branded inline 3.7V battery passthrough that I could use as a connector (sans battery) unless I have reason to be concerned about damaging it / melting wires or whatnot...or could cut my teeth with RCA connectors...

well, a regular 510 will work great off of the standard usb power of a pc.
(4.75-5.25V @500mA is the output of a usb on the PC)

a trustfire charger outputs 4.2v at 500mA

thinking that the 2000 mAh might be a bit to much.

i believe the power source is perfect but i think you have to get rid of that battery board enclosure thing and just use the wires.
