Only been DIYing a week, and so far things been going pretty good, have a few successful juices already, and today mixed a couple of larger bottles of juices me and the wife liked after steeping, well after mixing them and mixing up some new recipes, we are getting low on VG, so decided we would order bigger bottles of VG and PG, also might as well pick up some more nic while at it. We got 42 flavors on our 1st order, but still picked a few new ones too.

Using wizardlab the order came to nearly $45, but the shipping is over $16, guess because of the 500mil bottles of VG and PG, but damn, so looked around a few other places, and all was higher prices on the products and still very high shipping, so seemed silly to pay $16 on shipping, when could get it for free at $65, so ordered a lot more of stuff, could be good to have more flavors, but concerns me in the future going to be expensive to just get nic, PG and VG.

I only order 120 ml PG/100mg nic from VT, then downmix to 50mg in 240ml, lasts a long time.

Get my PG at Tractor Supply, 1 Gal $ 22.00, no shipping.
Now brand VG from my local health food store, 16oz $ 9.00, no shipping.
    And no waiting, lol.

Like Heabob said, the flavorings and nic are the stuff that's really vape-specific. PG and VG can be found many places.

But when ordering anything, find the price-point that works for you. Maybe you buy more to get free shipping, maybe you buy just a bit because that's all you need.

My plan is to convert a couple of smoker friends to vaping that I have a hunch will be good DIYers and make bulk orders for the basics. Should be more fun too! (They are also the last of my smoking friends).

What does Tractor Supply call it? I searched their website for propylene glycol and came up with a handful of empty.

Las t time I went to TS I couldnt find any. Best to call them. I asked and People there looked like they didnt know what it was. I know they sell it. Not sure what they call it other than what it is. I went to a feed store next door to the TS and they had a gallon of it.. So again best to call ahead and ask before being disappointed..

I've only gotten PG from ECX once (very recently), but I have purchased from them multiple times where I didn't qualify for free shipping. They do have a flat rate ship for $4.99, where it's "their choice" of shipping. I've always gotten it quick even then.

It can be frustrating to have to pay $16 for for one or two things, so I don't. I try... try and wait til I need enough things to hit their (WL) free spot.

Hmmm...Never had to pay more than $2 freight from Wizard labs............... or course that was a few flavors and mixing supplies. My full orders seem to always go well over the $75 free shipping mark.

Oh, and shipping is still not a big negative if you calculate what you per ml will be........way less than many Retailers mixes.

Heck, I paid for my Ultrasonic cleaner in savings the First time I used it to speed steep.:D

It is $65 for free shipping with WL ;)

To pay over $16 on shipping alone is a big negative to me, on a tight budget, hence one of the reasons I wanted to start DIYing, and starting this thread has served it's purpose, to find out where I can get what I need without paying the $16 shipping rate, to me it is silly to say, 'well doesn't matter about the shipping, because saving on what I paid for pre-made juice' when I can get it cheaper somewhere else without the higher shipping rate.
