Hmm, well... I'm not a doctor, but I do believe one of the side effects of smoking is poor circulation to the extremities. What I'm unsure about is if that's due to the nicotine. Well, could be that there's better circulation, which equals better blood flow, which could equal nails growing faster?? I haven't noticed a difference personally, I've only been at this for 5 weeks, but I do notice my hands are warmer.

Now that you mention it, yes! Fingernails, toenails, and hair seem to grow faster now. My skin looks healthier, or so I've been told. My gums are much healthier now too.
My hair does seem to be nicer (good for the people I donate to). Not sure about the nails mine have always grown pretty fast. Warmer hands not to sure have not tested heh.
Me too! I didn't connect it with vaping, but . . . perhaps it is!
And my hands and feet definitely seem warmer, now. Yay!
Since the change my hands have always been hot...I hope they dont get any hotter.
As for the nails, my pedis are still every 3 weeks and I haven't noticed a difference...I will keep an eye on it. As for the fingernails, who knows. I keep my acrylic claws on in varying lengths...
My hair has always grown fast (when it was short I had to cut it every 2 weeks). If it grows any faster I might have to let it get to my ankles. Of course with all the chemicals I put on that, I am lucky I am not bald
I do notice my skin is a bit oilier, but I had dry skin to begin with, so maybe that's good.

Medically...those are things that should be happening...plus changes in sleeping and dreaming patterns Anyone notice this? You should be sleeping better and getting to sleep more easily but might have more vivid dreams for awhile We're still ingesting nicotine so many of the benefits of quitting smoking won't show up until we hit 0 nicotine...but it's nice to see an increase in our overall health, isn't it??

My nails (always very long) have been breaking a lot lately. I have noticed that my hair seems to be growing faster though. My hands & feet aren't as cold as they used to be but I think that's due to my "power surges"!
My hair is nicer and no split ends. But I haven't noticed my nails growing..they are too soft even with vitamins. I can't tell if my feet and hands are warmer because it's in the 80's here. I'll see this winter!
My hair is growing faster but it's to my backside so I'll have to deal with split ends until I get to the point of vaping. My nails always break and peel no matter what I do. Hands and feet seem to be warmer but I've only noticed this since I read this thread...LOL. I just figured it was due to getting a tad warmer here in the midwest.
