Found the problem

Well I think my problem is solved. I got the new 1" tube the other day, and I don't have any more leaks out the bottom of the carto. The other m1a1 I have is the 1.5" prototype. It looks like the screw is a little larger in diameter and it keeps the seal better. No leaks at all so far after a day or two.

Also, was the material for the tube changed? I ask because I have a crack in the prototype tube. It doesn't leak out of that crack, but it looks a little unsightly.

Let me be perfectly clear... I am not asking for a replacement. I know it was a prototype to test, so I don't mind paying to help out with r&d I am just making sure that there is a difference and I'm not just crazy

That crack probably lets air in releasing the vacuum then you get a leak. Glad you got it fixed. I got mine fixed too so I didn't have to use that syringe tube for the tank part any more. It worked good but looked like H E double toothpicks.

Glad you got it figured out, Paddrino. I remember seeing something about the tubes being changed to a better material. Can't recall the post right now,though.

We did find a better material called XXXXXXX LMAO !

this material will get some very small hairline cracks but they do not go thru the tube and do not leak as far as I know. I know that some carto just leak like a sieve , I use a ce2r4 and never have had any issues so ??

Perfect. Sounds like I'm on the right track. Was getting tired of cleaning off the buzz from juice everywhere. Thanks again.

I have been using it with some boge cartos. Once I get through the one I'm on I'm going to try out the fusions I got in the mail yesterday.

I used to hunt down leaks when I first started using tanks. Then I figured out that the majority of the leaks were from air leaking in. Let's face it there is a direct path out for the juice so if you can maintain that vacuum your in business. nI'm off to take the nephew to the doc. See you all later.
