The thing to realize these days is they all just pick and choose from the AP Wire anyway.
Some journalists even post multiple versions of the same story (slant one right/slant one left) in hopes it'll get picked up and run. The 'issue' is usually buried 57 links into the story. The front page is all about Dems, Reps, and some stinking OPINION POLL.
Faux Talk, Fluffington Host...pick your poison. I really miss the old Kipling style of journalism. I miss having political stories that start out telling you the name and number of a resolution/bill/law so you can dig in and see what is REALLY going on and communicate with the 'proper office' to influence a lobby.
Both 'sides' usually ignore the actual issue and give you 50 paragraphs about their 'own polls' and plaster 'names, labels, and faces' all over everything. I really could care less if it's 'liberal/conservative/etc.'. We all know it's gonna have to be compromised to pass anyway...so why not focus on the issues, and what needs to happen to make things WORK?
