Good piece the fact that its old makes it that much more relevant. We've come to a place where we need to regulate our regulatory agency's. Those who are supposed to help us are now doing the opposite. My personnel Opinion is the decision these these days are heavily influenced but buy out side interest not looking out for our us but rather looking out for their pocket book. This is very obvious threw out our government.

Stossel is the MAN!! He is a Libertarian party man which means he's fiscally conservative and socially tolerant or liberal. Which I believe is where most Americans really are. Stossel always takes a common sense approach to issues. I honestly think the Libertarian movement is our countries only hope.

I know you hate anything political Rocketpunk... Sorry :)

great article and the one posted followup!

ya they are old but has the science changed? has public opinion changed? has there been any new studies conducted?

as far as i know the science/studies are still relevant.

i like the last line of the second article posted
"No one knows exactly what long-term benefits they’d gain from e-cigarettes, but we can say one thing with confidence: Every time they light up a tobacco cigarette, they’d be better off vaping. "

I tend to break out in hives at the mention of it, but persevered and read it anyway ;) I haven't watched Stossel in years because I rarely watch network TV (or much TV at all, really) but I liked his tenacity, even if I didn't always agree with his views.

How odd! I get the same reaction at the mention of MSNBC! :p
