First off, I want to say that I won this package in a contest here on the ECF but this will in no way compromise what I say and how I feel about this device.

Foxy Box mod 5v (package w/charger, 2 14500 900mAh batteries, 1 Boge 3.0ohm cartomizer and a 3mL sample of KBV Warm Sugar Cookie)

Presentation - Taking it all out of package: the batteries, cartomizer, and juice sample came in a nifty little plastic case (battery case suited to hold 4 AA type batteries, maybe?). The batteries came charged (I don't know if this is standard practice) and everything was well packed.

The box itself it very well built, it's about the size of 3 AA batteries side-by-side width wise and maybe add 1/2-3/4 of an inch to the length of a standard AA. I've been knocking it around trying to loosen things up a bit (not always a good idea, I know) but it has done nothing to compromise the function of the MOD or the overall structure, this thing is built like a rock. There's some sort of epoxy/hot glue around the atomizer connector to prevent juice from getting inside of the box, no doubt, a standard practice. And, Steve or Mrs. Steve even autographed the inside casing with his known ECF name, Godzilla, in that paint they use to optionally decorate your box which I thought was pretty neat. I pushed on the circuitry a little bit (within reason) and everything just seems to be well put together.

Performance - Now this is where this thing shines (literally)! The first thing I noticed, after loading the batteries in was the led. I made the mistake of looking directly at it and it temporarily blinded me. This led is so powerful, this device would not only make a great e-device but also, a great form of protection against an assailant, just put it up to their face and hit the button BAM! Temporary blindness, giving you the appropiate time to act.

All jokes aside though, the led is super powerful and I do recommend that you do not stare at it. But, there are ways of this not becoming a problem. The led is posistioned close enough to the button that you can easily cover it with your thumb while taking a hit, which is what I do. You can also opt for the stealth version, which has no led at all. But the color itself it really cool (I got indigo blue) and I believe he offers 6 different colors, so, that's a neat option to have.

This thing is a beast, simply said (Note: I gave it a name that I felt lived up to it's beastiness ;) ). I'm currently vaping on it with the Boge cartomizer included with the package and wow, I am really pleased with the power this thing puts into my lungs. The Warm Sugar Cookie sample included is very appropiate with this MOD because at 5 volts, it's toe curling delicious. This MOD would not sit well with those who like a cooler vapor (unless, of course, you opt for a higher resistance carto or atty) but Steve's got you covered with the 3.7v, if one so desired.

Personally, I love all of my KBV juices at higher voltages and this thing is performing admirably with all of them. I use Ikenvape HV 3.5ohm attys for all of my KBV juices and paired together with this box is leaving me very satisfied. Another gripe I have is that when dripping with an atomizer (and if you're like me and tend to over drip at times,) it leaks and drips down the side of the box. But, this is the same with all devices I've tried that do not have a catch cup, and is, in my opinion, a user-related fault. But, a fault to note anyways.

I've been using this thing for the past few hours and I've had zero misfires and every fire is a massive torpedo shot of warm vapor to the throat and lungs, very pleasing indeed.

Overall - This thing is an awesome little box that gives a new meaning to, never judge a book by its cover. It may look small, but it surely performs to my highest expectations of 5v vaping and truly packs a mean punch for such a little guy.

It's discreet (albeit the led is like a flare in the face), solid, and will surely be by my side everywhere I go. I don't have to worry about it being harmed as it's durable and very well built. The only 2 gripes I have is the brightness of the led is immense and when over dripping with an atomizer, the juice will leak down the sides (but never in the MOD, I've noticed).

I am pretty picky on what juice to buy and even more when it comes to buying hardware but had I the chance to try this out before obtaining one, I would definitely have purchased one the same day. I am extremely happy with product and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking into getting a 5v MOD (especially of how competative the pricing is on one of these).

Dual thumbs up from me, Steve, thank you very much for opening my eyes to such a delightful little beast!

I agree with everything said above...plus I've had mine for over 3 months, use it all day, every day, and have not had one problem with it. I love the 5V with a 2.0 DCC on it since I like a warm strong hit. I keep a Riva on the side so I can switch to different flavors and keep the cartos from overheating. This is hassle free vaping. I was really getting tired of the charging, filling, etc. all day.... Also can't say enough about Steve's customer service. He's always there to help if you need it. The kits are very modestly priced and are top quality.
