mathmatics say that a 15x24x12 tub one quarter full would hold about 720 small pieces. subtract say 1/3 for unused space as you are probably not organizing while filling the tub. 480 just for the small pieces. Double that for the remaining pieces using 3/4 tub space and subtracting some for pieces size and unused space puts me at 960...

my guess is 960.

Anyone think this logic is a load of crap, I agree with you.
