I have never purchased anything from Mt Baker Vapor. Have never even visited their website. Not because I thought there was anything wrong with MBV. Quite to the contrary. From what I've read on numerous threads, they have many satisfied customers and seem to be a reputable company with excellent customer service. I simply had not heard of MBV at the time I was buying my first e-juices and
devices, and have been happy with the companies I had first run across.
In late April my credit card issuer (Bank of America) notified me that they (BoA) were closing my credit card account and opening a new account for me. New credit card number. New credit card. I called BoA to ask why. They told me a vendor I'd done business with had notified BoA that the vendor had been experiencing credit card fraud problems.
Over the past two months, I had done business with six different e-cig vendors (none of them Mt. Baker or
alien Visions), so I have no idea which one(s) I purchased from was/were affected. I did notice that the check out procedure of three of the vendors I ordered from looked exactly the same as each other, so I agree with Racehorse and 440BB:
Ask them who their CC processor is. Seems like that is where the holes are.
There are only so many credit card processors out there that will deal with the ecig community. I suspect that whenever we see a rash of these fraudulent charges that the vendors involved happen to use the same one.

Recently named Alien Visions and Mt. Baker are victims as well, as it hurts their business.
