They asked for it,i was in my building in the elevator and someone asked me if i still was using ecigs,i whipped out my kayfun/Vela and they asked me me to show them how it works.I did a massive lung hit and we all could not see each other from all the vapour. The security guy freaked out when the door opened but hes cool cause he vapes too.

Nice! :toast:

And then we wonder why some folks have issues with Vapers or want to limit our use?

Umm... so let me understand you... you want to not vape in public as you are afraid of people banning them in public? You already lost the battle when you submit before restriction. You may need to watch the history channel a bit to understand why that way of thinking has caused severe consequences all throughout history.

...anyways, vape on! :vapor:

It not illegal in Canada to vape in public.BTW...everyone was happy and thought it was awesome and asked where to get one.I also find its a great way too attract women, they seem to come around me and ask questions when i whip out my Mech.

It's dumb things like this that give vapers a bad name. Yeah nobody immediately next to you was bothered and yes other vapers do much dumber .... but vaping in an elevator, seriously? While this may be acceptable in the future, we have to be careful now. What if somebody with a not so positive attitude toward vaping ran into you? What if the security guard wasn't cool about vaping? Open a web browser and check the news, vaping is getting smacked hard and things like this should not be happening if we don't want to get regulated and banned into the ground.

Ok. You might want to understand "why" they are preparing to heavily tax e-cigs... profit. They want to ultimately regulate e-cigs to the point where we can only use prefilled cartomizers... and guess who would profit from that? ...the sinister tobacco companies as they own many of the prefilled e-cig options.

Why must some inconsiderate vapers make a spectacle of their success? Humility will help to secure our success in legislative reasoning.

You see a guy with a Ferrari. You envy him. You see him drive it like a d-bag. You hope he wrecks it. See?

I'm sure most ANTZ would keep their opinions minimized if it weren't for boastful cloud-blowers that make people uncomfortable. Yes, we know there's no risk of harm from second-hand vapor, but not everyone knows this. Even if the belief of harm is due to ignorance, until vapers are given a green light, KEEP YOUR VAPOR TO YOURSELF IN PUBLIC!!!

I vape everywhere. I keep it discrete. I am satisfied. I haven't raised any eyebrows. I haven't made anyone uncomfortable. I win.

You lose, because you opened the door to ridicule by your display. Please don't wreck my Ferrari, dude. :2cool:

You might be right about the reason. But politicians cannot pass a law till the time general public is completely against it (after all they would like to get voted again). But because of unwanted public display (I am not saying yours was), general population who are not smokers are turning against vaping ofcourse media has a role to play as well. So as most of the reasonable vapers say, keep your vaping to yourself and do it only where smoking is allowed.

Since when did it become a detriment to make your own choices? I think it is better to help educate rather than sit back and wait for the fallout of legislation. We all see how that is working! I vape anywhere I please. 99.9% of the time there are no complaints or words of displeasure. Sure you will get the "stare" every once in a while but most of the time, people will ask more questions about if that really works. Everyone has a family member or friend that they care enough about to want to see them quit! It is our responsibility to help educate rather that keep our success stories in the deep dark closet. We can't afford to let the few loudmouth complainers dictate the outcome of the numerous success stories that are shared every day within this forum. B-)

If only there was a thumbs down button. There is nothing to be proud of from vaping in a hospital. We simply do not know the consequences of vaping. It definitely might not be as harmful as cigarette for you but you cannot claim to know that its safe for the patients.

Most people really don't have any interest in the health consequences of vaping. They just couldn't care less. Older people who quit smoking a long time ago particuarly. They will never be on board. The latest statistic from my city (Ottawa) indicates that only 10% of the population smokes cigarettes and I imagine less than 1% vapes. It might change to 5% vape and 5% smoke in the next little while but it is still just going to be 10% of the population. My experience tells me that it is probably wiser to keep a low profile and be as non-confrontational as possible. The odds/outcomes are not in our favour.

Doctors want patients to use ecigs, its been documented,i see the poor souls in wheel chairs with IV tubes in their arms and smoking cancer sticks.
