I picked up samples of many FSUSA tobacco flavors (maybe 10 of them) not too long ago. Initially they all tasted basically the same to me too, except for Shade and Wyatt Earp and Hypnotic Myst which were clearly different from the get go. Initially all but the Myst had a floral taste. Once they settled the differences between them became apparent and the floral'ness went away, they got much better.

The way i see it, waiting a bit for them to settle is just part of the price you pay for getting flavor/nic/vg/pg amounts to custom order. I'm fine with paying that price. It's kind of nice to see how the flavors change over time too.

I do think that a notice on the site about settling time would be a good addition. I think it's generally known that freshly mixed liquids need to settle, but until you know that it can throw you off. A notice on the site would just help spread that word a little.

Let me throw in my two current favorites right now from FSUSA. Right now I'm really enjoying their Hypnotic mist. Very nice smooth (hint of sweetness) vape.
...but I'll tell you the one flavor that I would never have thought I'd like is Strawberry Twist. I've never big really into fruity flavors but this one tastes so good (to me anyways). It reminds me of a Quick Strawberry Milk drink. I really love this stuff.

I hear you all the way, that's why I get the Pre-Mixed versions. No waiting, instant satisfaction. You should give those a try, they have a decent variety of Pre-Mix on their site.

This makes me crazy. I just got 4 sample size bottles from FSUSA. Ry4 Ry5 Wyatt Earp American spirit and they threw in a mar bro and a lime cherry I haven't tried yet. So far the 4 tobacco flavors taste almost exactly the same. All an over powering brown note of tobacco no hints of anything.

Now I have an educated palette being a chef of over 20 years I have a professional stake in being able to pick out flavors from recipes etc. And none of these tastes in any way discernible from the other. I did pop the caps and drippers to let them breathe over night but still no flavor other then the strong dry tobacco. This aggravates me terribly.

Someones going to say "let them age" I am going to reply "sell me something that tastes good!" If it needs age then I think FSUSA should be responsible fro that. I need a product I can vape on delivery and tastes good today not in two weeks.

Oh and I meant to mention I have a VV device so I have tried them at different temps.

Even an educated pallet can experience flavors that others don't, and some of us may pick up flavors that you wont. I pick up woody, leathery, clover tea-ish flavors in Wyatt Earp, and caramel, vanilla, and dried leaves from RY4.

The aging process did nothing for my American Spirit, Wyatt Earp, Cappuccino Smooth, and Camtel. If anything, the nic throat hit reduced a little, but that may be associated with my throat getting used to 24mg nic levels.

Taste is subjective with these liquids, and not just because of our flavor preferences (including acquired tastes), but because of our individual sensitivities to flavor. Some can pick up complex flavors, while others miss them completely. There's also the psychological effect of taste that gives flavors a context (apple pie reminds me of my grandma's kitchen, etc), and the perception of taste (the way the brain processes the taste signals). Knowing how complex the taste process is, it's easy for me to see that these liquids are interpreted subjectively.
