Freezing Nicotine

I have a good amount of 48 mg nicotine in vg that im thinking of freezing to further its preservation. I have never frozen unflavored nic myself, but i've done plenty of research on the subject, and it seems like people have a lot of mixed results. Im wondering how many of you have had your nicotine taste "off" after freezing, or noticed a decrease in potency. Please do not vote yes if your nic was past the expiration date.

I can't taste the nic in my ejuice after freezing or not. I vape nothing but: 50/50 or > % VG Cinnamon 18mg nic.

There is a post..... can't remember where...... basically stating saying should be fine for a couple years. They discuss removing as much air a possible and how PG should store better than VG. Sounded quite credible and I remember reading it a couple times to learn as well as to have a plan when/if taxes and restrictions come.

I've refrigerated as well as frozen 48mg nic and it was fine. Only thing is I haven't done it for extended periods.

I froze some for about 8 months without a noticeable difference.

I freeze my nic and have seen no changes in either the pg or vg.

Well I have some nic in the freezer right now, so I'll try it out in a week or so and post my results. It sounds like it works out well for most people though, save for zoidman. Maybe he just had bad luck? I think it helps if your freezer doesn't auto defrost though. Seems like a consistent temperature would be best.

Add to my vote, I won't use self defrosting freezers. Different story with long term storage when the damned freezer heats up to defrost everyday. JMHO

I am in Alaska and have left many bottles of juice in my car during the winter. No change in the flavor. To me i get an increased th from cold juice.

Looks like the jury is in on this one. Thanks everyone for the replies. I tried freezing a couple ml of my nic juice, and a week later it was unchanged in color, flavor, and throat hit. I just put the rest of my stash in the freezer

Have stored 100mg in PG in my freezer (amber glass bottles with polyseal caps) for about 6 mo now and have had no change to either taste or look of it. Almost zero head space in the bottles.

I have been freezing nic for about 10 months now with excellent results. Matter of fact I just used a bottle that had been stored the longest (10 months) and was very pleased with it. I take advantage of good sales and freeze my nic all of the time. I am currently stocking up on the nic that is now available extracted from US tobacco plants at 1/2 price
