It looks nice, but with the availability of so many ~$10 RDAs, I just don't see the point spending that much on one now. They're all so similar in functionality, you're just paying a premium price for a little etched logo and slightly different shape. The knurled bottom looks nice though, I wish more were like that... adds a nice touch of texture, especially when the atty is on top of an all polished mod.

I buy for quality when I am done experimenting with the 'quantity' devices.

If the price tag makes you feel you're getting better quality, by all means spend away. I haven't had any problems with my $10 atty. Build quality is great.

Build quality is great on the $10 attys if you're okay with mystery-metal "chrome-plated brass" in direct contact with your juice.

The ones I have are stainless steel, no mystery there. I would never buy or use anything plated. They're pure crap.

It's actually a fair price for this atty.. but it's the shipping that brings the price up to a point I'm hesitant paying.

Although, I just noticed this is 22mm! Ya know, I'd be more inclined to buying one knowing that. All the budget RDAs are 19-20mm. This would look fantastic on my Lux.

Lets see some pics :)

OOOOKAY!

First thought...not much to the packaging. Just a bag with the logo and the atty.

Open the bag, no paper or anything (not that I can read German). Just the atty.

Open the atty...what the deuce? This spinny positive post is WEIRD! Connected to the true positive post is a small block of steel with threaded post attached to it. This block swivels 360 degrees around the atty and seems to be very well mounted, but can also be untightened with a small pair of pliers.

Both positive and negative posts have a top screw and a hole in the middle mount system.

Going to try wrapping a coil or two on this after I finish my dinner. Will be back with more comments/pictures soon! Ask any questions as well!

That is rather strange looking. I wonder what the purpose of that is?

I'm diggin the deep juice well though.

Im not sure what the purpose is yet. I've decided i'm going to start with a really low single coil, I just finished making this little pin hole into my standard 5/64s. About to start playing around with wire setups now.

And yes, the well is friggen almost a 1/4" deep!!! Very excited about that!

The swivel post is meant to give you options on builds; but also, to change the resistance of a coil. Build a coil that's straight across, measure it. swivel so it's now curved (and shorter) but the same coil. . . . . .Should read about 0.2Ω less.

Very well said sir! Many, many possibilities of coils to be made...this should be a really fun one.

Are you sure? Many thought the IGO-L was all-stainless...it's not. Same with 90% of the cheap drippers I've seen. If you can point me to an all-stainless $10 RDA I'll be happy to buy one.

The DRAs are big at 22mm, and should hold a lot of juice. I consider the price very fair, but I agree the shipping is a bit much, and it can take weeks to get items from Europe if they ship DHL.

I had to do this under the pressure of the woman yelling at me to stop 'playing with my stupid toys and get ready to leave'. So she's not pretty...AND I ran out of wick, lol. But here's her first build.

28g kanthal a1, 2/3 wrap @ .4-.5 ohms around a silly clover looking loop of 1.5mm ekowool. 40+ watts of delicious pluid!

I can't wait to really 'play with this stupid toy' when I get more wick in.

edit - And it took 4 days to get from Germany here to Virginia VIA DHL. My paps took a mere TWO DAYS from GREECE. You get what you pay for when it comes to shipping.
