I need to completely disassemble the center post so I can shim the positive center post inside the connector. Right now its recessed up inside. I believe I read that the neg post must be removed first so the block/arm can spin freely to unthread.
Last night I put a couple hundred pounds of pull strength on the neg post and its not moving.

I didn't remove the negative pin. Push down with the positive pin until it extends enough from the 510 connection to get ahold of it with pliers or something. Once you have ahold of it you can unscrew the nut inside the atty and it will all come apart. There are two soft silicone gaskets in the connector.

I took one of mine apart and redid the insulators. I used orings from Ody kits. I took the bottom piece of silicone off and put one of the orings on the center pin. Then from the topside I pushed the top silicone down inside the put two more of the orings and put it back together. Now it's really solid, I can rotate the post if I want but it stays where I put it. I can adjust the center pin on my Poldiac and line up the air hole without pushing the post up. Trying to do it yesterday it shorted and collapsed my spring, that's what got me off my rear end to find a solution. Really a bad design flaw, but I'm loving the atty now. Here is the kit I'm talking about:
Odysseus Replacement O-ring Set
I had to get into two of the kits because there are only two of the smallest per kit. After I got it all together I came across my GGTS oring kits and they have even smaller ones. They probably would have worked better on the top side, I really had to force those in. Even though they are out of stock, the GG wiki site will list the specs on the orings.

Mine was actually assembled wrong at the manufacturer. All though I do agree it's a crap execution of a decent design.
So I just reassembled it how it was intended to be, and all is well. I do imagine eventually those soft insulators will give and I'll have to do "The Ody Fix" shall we call it...
Fortunately I am an Ody fan and have excessive GG O rings as they can be impossible to find if they are not in season.

Thanks for the info
