So for those of you that enjoy another's misery: When you are almost blind without your glasses, do not set your eyedrops and your 12mg e-juice next to each other, take off your glasses, and then proceed to try to medicate your seasonal allergies. Ask me how I know this, and feel free to add your other humor or horror stories.

On a positive note, you did get your nicotine fix.....in a unordinary highly unrecommended way! Not to be repeated again anytime soon I would hope. Those type of lessons administered by Mr. murphy tend to be remembered.

You have my sympathies, I cringed just reading about your incident.

I was wondering if you found a new and better way to get your nicotine - like the people that put booze up-stream instead of down-stream? ;)

i hope that you did a good and quick eye wash. was shaking up some juice the other night that I've had sitting around for a while and a nice glob that was sitting at the bottom of the cap flew into my eye. I have no idea why I was looking at it at that very second but I was. Flushed my eye out real quick but I could feel it for a little while. wasn't anything I thought of as too serious though.. But I didn't drop it into my eye like eyedrops, that just sucks. tape a strip of sandpaper to your eyedrops so it doesn't happen again.. "If you don't feel the rough strip it's not safe to drip"

That gives a while new meaning to the word "dripping". :D

On a related note my wife once did that with some kind of nose or ear drops, I forget which for sure. She dropped them in her eye then started screaming in pain. When I went to see what was going on, I saw her clutching her eye, two bottles on her nightstand, and the wrong one had the lid off. Once we got her eye washed out and the pain subsided, we both had a good laugh, although it was much funnier to me than to her.

As someone that got far less in his eye (and it stung like hell), I can only imagine how much that sucks (but I have a good idea). I had a tank open, and before putting the top back on... I tried to "gently" blow the juice that was on the top of the coil head off.

Bad idea, never try that. It sprayed up in my eye. My over a decade in the Navy revealed itself in that moment.

Do not fire your coil and then while it's hot catch the PV so that the atty ends up on your skin

That was hot.

My eyes are watering just thinking about this! ow ow ow... That singed flesh pic is equally cringe worthy.

I don't have any horror stories (yet). The only thing that happened to me was that I rubbed my eyes while apparently having some trace amount of menthol juice on my hand. That sucked fairly bad, my tear duct areas were burny but not horrible but the COLD feeling from the menthol didn't go away for about 6 hours, despite flushing with water repeatedly.

What I'd like to see is an after photo now that it's had time to heal?

Ouch! Glad your eye is okay.:)

I don't wear prescription glasses, but use the cheapie readers for close work, like filling up a tank, lol. I was in a hurry and didn't grab my glasses to fill my Aro tank. I kept wondering to myself, "How is this tank holding so much juice?" You know the answer - it was pouring down the side and onto the paper towel. Lesson learned.
