Ok I have some questions for the answer man.So lets talk coils.....
1) Have you every tried the stove top coil and if so what do you think? (a coil without a wick sounds intriguing)
2) I read threads about a lot of different type coils like Mundy's magic and fused Clapton coils and wondered if they are any better than the run of the mill coils? Also they seemed to be when made are extremely thick and need large post holes to accommodate them...true or false?

I've tried stove top coils, you don't wick through the coil you wick around it. They are extremely hot coils, awesome flavor but burn through a lot of juice. I built mine using 24g and they had 4 wraps each. They were at .22 ohms total. Burnt the black paint off my rm5 AFC ring, the top cap and drip tip were hot after a few hits. I haven't built them in a while and I've only had them in my rm5 twice.
