My friend is a pretty regular smoker who prefers Camel. He has tried my vape and loves it. He keeps asking to use it when I am out with him, which I don't mind doing, but he wants to get one so he can quit smoking. I have recommended him to get a 1300 mah Vision spinner (or ego equivalent) and a Kanger T3. From what I have read the bwb Casablanca is the best Turkish tobacco juice. Is this about right for a beginner to at least hopefully kick the habit?

You said he loves what your vaping so why not that? The mod also is a personal choice.
When I first started vaping I used some tobacco flavors, but that didn't last long. I found out quickly that I could be just as satisfied with something that tasted a lot more interesting and still feel like I didn't want a cig. You probably have some B & M's around you, take him to one and let him taste some for himself.
One of my friend is heavy Marlboro Red smoker. I got him into vaping and he started out with taboco flavor from MtBaker and within few days he's vaping all different flavor and enjoying it. Like others have suggested, bring him to the Vape bar and expose him to different flavor.
I was a heavy red marlboro smoker, and after try a lot of top brands y love the cheap one... my favorite is the Turkish from Dekang. Try it.
