Friendly hello from a soon-to-be Vaper (canadian)

Hey there ECF, I recently ordered my first PV, and Ejiuce- Impatiently waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

I checked out Ecigs about a year-year and a half ago, and the info I found, and suppliers (lack of) really turned me off. It just seemed way to unpredictable to reliably get what I would need, and leave tobacco smoke behind me forever. With the industry becoming more stable/main stream, I decided to check it out again, so I took the plunge.

So here I am, sifting through ECF looking at basics, getting confused with advanced topics

I ordered my juice from CanVape, but I can't seem to find any info on their Nic/pg/vg sourcing, anyone have concrete info on that? I'm committed to my purchase regardless, they seemed like a reputable supplier, so I just went with it.

Haven't used canvape personally, but I know that many from ecf recommend it for members of your country.

Yeah, there is much to learn about ecigs, but the good thing is you don't have to do it all in one day.

Thanks for the welcome-to all, and WillyZee-call me Tang I really appreciate the feedback on vendor choice, makes me feel a little more secure with what I will be ingesting into my body. As a PAD smoker, almost anything has to be better than those.

I heard about e-cigs a few years ago but never really looked into it. Lucky for me I did check it out about 6 months ago when it was a much more improved technology. I don't know if I would have stuck with it if I had tried it 2 or 3 years ago. There are a lot of vets on this forum that stuck out those early years and are really pioneers. This forum is a great place to get good advice about equipment and liquid. Good luck in the future.

Most nicotine for e-liquids today is sourced from China. This is pharmaceutical grade nicotine, the same type used in nicotine gum, inhalers and patches. India is coming online as a major producer of nicotine and the US is just starting to enter the game with plans for more production in the future.

E-cigs work. I quit smoking with a eGo-sized rig and 510 cartos. Keep with it and good luck! You have found a great resource for information here at ECF.

Your choice of CanVape is a good one. I use them a lot for supplies (mostly hardware) - good prices, great selection and delivery/cust support.

As for juice, you can use CanVape but there are two I'd really recommend - Jugheads and Gentlemen's Reserve.

I am SO interested in JugHeads, but from what I gather their hours are a little whacked out, and it seems there may be some weird ordering method? I dunno, if you would like to PM, and clear that up, if you have first hand experience? in any case, they're closed till the 27th.

Good! Looks like an evod type.

Yep, that would be the EVOD. They come with 1.8 ohm coils, and they don't appear to be very good. I switched the stock coils with the 1.5 ohm protank coils, far better vape.

Good choice tho, they work well.
