In the past, I've had a pretty decent experience with GLV. Last night, I attempted to order a body for GLV2 5V as mine has gone MIA (long story). Anywho, order wouldn't go thru...found out why and was aok with it and sent email. I didn't get a response until today (not ok). Was apologized to...good....asked what I needed....good....then no response after I stated what I needed (which was all in the first email....all the details, not ok). Basically, it is disappointing I chose a product where nothing is available for it. The website is completely empty. Kind of like the store I made my purchases in....nothing is in stock, kinda frustrating when you need something. As a smoker let's say...you go to a gas station and the vendors didn't stock the cigs you smoke...same frustration, or lets say no one has gas for your car within 20 sqr miles, anyone would be upset. Consumers want availability is what I'm guessing. Or at least I do.

So with that said, still no body, or a ship time, or order, or nothing. Basically, none of my concerns or questions answered.

Anywho, I'm just frustrated. Sorry to vent, but this has not been the experience as some here had.

You should call them. There's a message on the home page.

PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL US TO PLACE YOUR ORDER
1-248-346-3205 ASK FOR SARA
SARA@GREATLAKESVAPOR.COM

Jay mentioned in a video they were going to be doing ordering by phone for a while. I'm sure you'll get it straightened out if you call. I've only heard great things about the customer service.

I don't know your working hours but Jay & Sara don't only answer their phone during "normal business hours". It wouldn't be cool to call at 11:00 PM but if you're out of work at any reasonable hour I'm sure you'll be able to talk to them. They're also usually available on weekends.

And they will respond to voice mails.

I prefer on-line shopping too but it's kind of crazy to hear a complaint about people that place a higher value on direct communication than on digital dialog. Damn these Inter-tubes!

They are pretty swamped it took a good while for them to get back to me by e:mail as well. And actually I tried calling and it was still 2 days after that I got a response by e:mail. But honestly it's not a manufacturing plant. It's one person making the product and another doing everything else. I haven't communicated with Jay, but Sara seems really nice and sincere about delays etc. I like you have little patience for such things but they have a great product and seem like really nice people. So I'm not gonna piss and moan about it. Hopefully you feel better and get some sleep in with all that work. On a side note I just ordered two mods from the UK that have a estimated shipping time of 12 weeks. Anyways hope you get your parts soon and can't wait to order my mini in may. I hope they have the stand bases in by then.

Yeah, it's a bit unorthodox.. but they're working hard.. I spoke with Sara today when I placed my order, and my GLV Super-Mini is about 15 business days out.. :( They got a good product, they're just spread a little thin. She did mention that she kind of batches the emails.. just checks them once a day and tries to get back to everyone at one time, so if you miss that window, it may be a day or two before she gets back to you.. Glad you got it sorted out, but for those placing future orders, just give them a bit of patience. :)

It would be good to get an "actual" lead time on these mods when you order it other than the standard 15 days quote. Dont get me wrong, I have read enough good things about the GLV that the wait is stomachable, but the updates to the forum and the site are so vague you really cant make heads or tails of them. I placed an order in the begining of March and made a change to it at the end. I emailed Sara, but eveyone told me to call so I did. Sara answered quickly and took all of my info, and to her credit she processed the change the same day. That is quick!
Now when I asked Sara at the same time as the changes how much longer she thought it might be to ship I got........you guessed it....... 2 weeks.....4 weeks ago.
Again, I am patient but some site updates on the status of the builds could do wonders for the masses. The last one on my build list was as of 4-12.

The good news is, your order is placed and you probably don't have that much longer to wait. I won't even be able to order for a few weeks yet due to lack of funds :( It's hard out here for a broke vaper!

Just as an FYI my wife has been waiting in her order since mid-late February so 15 days probably isn't too accurate.

I ordered mine 4/28 and am patiently (somewhat) waiting. It's my own fault for selling my GLV2 to a buddy. But if you want the best no fuss 5 volt mod out there then yer gonna have to wait. The old addage "ya don't know what ya got till it's gone" stands true.

4/28? you ordered it tomorrow? Hey, can I borrow your time machine? I want to go back and time and not marry my ex-wife. There's a few other things that need a fixin' too, so if you can hook me up I would appreciate it! Thanks Sam.

I'm so anxious I guess I'm projecting a bit. Jeez if I ordered it tomorrow; well I'd rather not think about that. I've ordered 30 mls each of four different juices in anticipation. I wanted to order some I06's but the Ikenvape site has been down. I used to use standard resistance 510 atties when I had a GLV and they worked great (cheap ones from eastmall.net) but I prefer the I06's.
