Frustrated newbie asking for help

Hi, I've been vaping for about 2 months (and smoke-free since). I started with a Tesla vv/vw with the big 18650 battery. It came with what I think is a top coil clearomizer? (tight draw with 2 long wicks that soak in the juice) I upgraded to the Protank 1 and loved it. In order to have several different flavors, I also picked up a protank 2 and 3. After about 3 weeks, they all started flooding constantly. Bought new heads ( I think thats what they are called) and after less than 24 hrs, they all start flooding again.
I went to a nice pro-shop and they hooked me up with better quality juice, and noticed that I was over-tightening the heads. Now I followed their advice, but still only get a few days out of the new heads before I get a mouthfull of juice. Are there any other bottom coil clearomizer tanks that don't flood so much? I like the draw and vape on the protanks, but am ready to throw them at puppies. I hope I named all the parts correctly, but bear with me for being new. Also have a ego twist that I love better than the tesla, but same issue with flooding.
thank you in advance for any advice

I'm pretty new here as well but I can tell you my experiences so far in hopes that they will help. ;)

I started with the Kanger EVOD tank and ego 1100mah. I had a few problems with wicks burning up (user error) but they've been very consistent thus far. I recently bought a pro mini. OMG I can't tell you how stoked I was...until the burnt taste appeared (about a day after I bought it and started using it). I went back to my regular shop and they replaced the head for me. Problem solved...NOT. About 5 hours of intermittent vaping later the taste came back. It hasn't flooded on me but then I don't fill them all the way up and I usually make sure no juice leaks into the tube before I seal up the tank. There is another thread in the newbie forum that addresses some of these issues so I would say take a gander at that (I'm sorry but I can't remember the exact name of the thread) to see if anything there could solve the problem. I have decided that it's just too much trouble and am going back to my EVOD tanks permenently. (or until I find something I love more).

Just my :2c: YMMV

Had similar issue with my first basic ego, until I upgraded to the larger EgoV2 vv.
So Far the Pro Mini's are working great

Not the most elaborate semi-mod but It is nice to see the power status, and easily change the voltage as needed.
I rarely get the Burnt hits as long as I prime the Tank a bit and start low and then crank up
Different Flavors will handle higher Volts than others.
I carry 3 tanks with me and change my flavors to suit my mood.

It may also be your Juice.
Try another Vape Store, or PG/VG %.
I'm sure they carry different versions from different Vendors

My own experience is that the resistance of the coil and your vaping style are somewhat connected. I use a low resistance coil because I like to take a lot of short puffs. If you take multiple short puffs on a high resistance coil I flood it because I am pulling more juice into the coil than it can vaporize quickly because high resistance heats up slower. Not sure if you do the same or not.
