took out a wick btw. after just 2 refills with cleaning and drying, the tank eventually leak. i even experience flooding. juice was 50/50. with this experience i think for the next heads/refills i wont take out the wick and see what happens. btw the first fills on these protanks were great (i also dont mind the airy draw)!!! but after that, i started to encounter what other people have been saying. :/

with the flooding, i viewed this youtube video and adapted his method. and it seems to work. ymmv.

another note i made for myself when using protank is... to not use it when im mobile - like being at work or out. protanks dont like being moved a lot. i came to a realization that it is a vape and set on desk kinda tank - to avoid the leaking/flooding problem. *i use my ibtanks for my out and about now. i just dont wanna have to deal with potential protanks problem when im outside.

also, since i rotate my juice (i dont have an all day vape juice yet), i set my not-in-rotation-but-with-juice protanks upside down like the youtube video above. i seem to avoid those leaking problem this way.

bottomline, i wont suggest these protanks to new vapers. im new but i tinker every now and i dont mind troubleshooting problems. but for vapers who want their setup with minimal maintenance - basically a refill and vape away then get new heads kinda people, these protanks might get expensive in a jiffy as i dont see it working properly even after just 1 refill. might be better off using cartotanks imo.

again, as always, YMMV! im a big noob and these are just my observations. i'd like to contribute to this forum so i figured i share my observations. :) vape on!

**i use the protanks with a provari.

If you don't mind tinkering, you could try rewicking with cotton. I don't have a protank, but I do have an evod, which has worked well with cotton. But the bottom line is that bottom coils are going to flood at least every once and a while. This is just because the wick also has to act as a constant seal.

That said, I think the kanger bottom coils are good but the best clearo out there is probably the vision vivi nova. Just tip them every few hits to keep the wicks saturated and they will work well for a long time.

My Protank has never leaked...weird. Gurgled once, but that's all. Only time it leaked is when I rebuilt the head and I got juice everywhere, oops

I've had my protank a week now and have brought it everywhere with me, I would highly recommend for new vapers. Its easy to fill, no leaks floods ordry hits. I put mine filled in my carrying case upside down sideways whatever, in my pocket on my provari no issues at all I am going to order 2 or 3 more and I am not a clearo guy at all.

when it works.... i must say, it works really great!!! BUT since i encountered a problem and im a noobie, it didn't sit well with me that a somewhat new and touted clearomizer would leak just after one or couple of refills. i have 3 of these protanks and i now only intend to use them 1.) as backup tanks for my ibtanked cartotanks 2.) when im at home/at my desk 3.) on my 2nd rate juices so i wont feel too bad wasting juice if it starts acting up again.

as always, YMMV! happy vaping!! :)
