I'd guess it's the 510 connection on the MVP, they have a rep for that. Sometimes you have to pry it delicately up (with the POWER OFF). Then you should think about the Kanger Subtank Mini and how much fun you'll have building on it's deck and rebuilding the OCC coils.
Sorry to hear that Ian..we've got a friend on round six of chemo with stage four lymphoma ..it's not pretty.
the girlfriend of mine in end stage emphysema (not approved for transplant due to her diabetes) did it for me.
glad you got it fixed OP!!!![]()

Stoked it worked my friend. Also, Rixsta nailed it, I go nowhere without at least 2 full set ups. The first time I broke a tank while in the middle of work on that deserted island with no backups I started digging in the sand looking for a smoke. I travel with at least 4 set ups for quick flavor changing and that once in a while catastrophe.
Better to wait and charge batteries than having nothing at all.
It's always a good idea to have a spare mech mod just in case. I recommend a mech cause they are dirt cheap. So say that you switch to sub ohming and buy a fancy new mod and subohm tanks, and then your new mod dies. You can still use the same 18650 battery in a mech mod until you can replace your ipv or whatever.
Well, I carry the quiver when traveling. I carry a Lucv4 charger, 5 sets of paired 18650, Crown and Herakles for my sig150 when lucky enough to use or in the hotel and at least 2 minis on 2 isticks for working. One is always in my pocket and another with juice in my backpack while on the job. The hotel holds the rest. I left an istick fully charged that I just found again hidden in a drawer and after a month it was still 75% charged. The 18650s dont sit long since at 60-80w I kill a pair easily in a night in the hotel. Now if you dont want to spend your kids college savings on gear, get 2 istick 30ws and 2 nautilus minis with metal sleeves. I guarantee if you recharge every 3 days both of them, you cant kill both of them no matter how much you vape. How do you manage battery state of charge with that many spares?! Lithium holds a charge orders of magnitude longer than nickel chemistry, but they do self discharge eventually.
There's a LF ego set in my jacket pocket, but last time my regular packed up and I opted to break out the spare - the battery was flat.
Luckily it was the coil gone open circuit on my regular, so I was able to put the spare carto on the battery I'd been using.
The moral of the story seems to be; don't over do it with spares, but make sure everything's compatible so you can mate together whatever parts still work.

I worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center during the mid to late 90s and still smoked ..that's a testament to the addictive qualities of nicotine/smoking.You really need to see first hand what cancer does to people - then persevering with less than perfect vaping technology takes on a whole new determination.
