Frustrated with E Cigs

Hi all, am a new member here but been using E cigs on and off for about 5 months.

My problem is that I seem to have issues with batteries. Currently using Ego kit with mouthpiece that has the sponge in it, if this makes sense , the battery I have at moment is the adjustable one. I have gone through 4 batteries since starting vaping, they have fallen apart, dont seem to charge or drop their charge quickly. I have a usb charger and the wall adaptor.

I am not sure  if there is an issue with

  • the USB cable although have two of these
  • The wall adaptor
  • The battery
  • Or if I need a different mouthpiece

I am confused/frustrated with the Ego product but lots of people seem to rate it so maybe its me! I am a heavy smoker, and on the odd occasion the kit works fine I am more than happy, but finding that having to supplement with actual cigarettes. I want a reliable kit with a good throat hit that will help me to stop smoking, any help would be appreciated.

thank you

if you're a power chain vaper, egos won't last long, they really won't... I came from mostly smoking hookah so my needs are far more demanding. The highest capacity I have is my eVic or zmax, they both take 18650 batteries, I use the green panasonic 3400mAh one. Yes the evic is expensive and maybe beyond your budget. but at least it chugs on reliably, even after a whole year of power vaping, going from 100% to 50% on almost a daily basis, the original battery has lasted.

I've had the same complaint with eGo.

For the claimed mAh rating, they don't have much power and sure don't last. The 1000 mAh battery on my eGo doesn't last as long as the 650 mAh battery on my Halo Triton which is the same basic thing but with different threading. My 900 mAh VV Triton battery lasts longer than my 1500 mAh Twist.

The "eGo" branding is too generic. Most eGo products are poor knockoffs that don't work well and don't last. I only recommend Kangertech EVOD and Joyetech Ego myself.

Stepping away from the eGo style, the iTaste VV is a good alternative in a similar size.

Or you could jump both feet first into a decent mod like the iTaste MVP.
