I have a KR808-D one manual XL battery and one automatic. I have been using the regular cartomizers that I get from myvaporstore. Been off analogs for 6 weeks and love the vaping experience and my KR808 would be fine if it held more juice, but...im tired of filling so much and dont much like the burnt taste that comes out of nowhere like...suprise! its empty! Gross! Also I have to take long hits back to back to be satisfied. Is it time to upgrade or is there something I can buy that will fit what I have?

Bring more filled cartos with you. I also use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece so it's not a big deal to take the carto off the battery, take out the drip tip, and add a bit of juice (which I do as soon as the vapor sems a bit light or a bit dry or if the carto is vepor too warm)

Are you filling the cartos completely? 18+ drops per ml of capacity? (a standard size carto is about 1ml). And using thinner liquid (I use 70 or 80 percent PG) and letting the carto lay on different sides for a while after first fill so every bit of stuffing gets damp?

What brand of cartomizers are you using? I use the ones from Vapor4Life (blanks mostly). There are also jumbo cartomziers available (I think Nhaler is one place that has them for KR8)

If you can deal with the breakage aspects and general flakiness, there are Clearomizers aka clear Fluxomizers for KR8 and the XL ones hold a lot of juice and you can see the juice.

If none of that works for you then maybe slim ecigs are not for you. Maybe you need mod that holds a bottle of juice.

There are better KR808 cartomizers, but the one's I use are still "small" (Bloog MaxxFusion).

There are also larger KR808 cartos, but most of them tend to have mixed reviews on the quality (clearomizers, and such).

If you're not looking to carry a bunch of already filled cartos (which is my preference), then you're probably ready to move up to a larger device. KR808's are small by nature, and that's often one of the primary reasons KR808 users are drawn to them, so sticking an adapter on it, and then adding a massive carto would be a bit goofy (though it could be a cheaper temporary solution).

The Leo, the i-go, and the go-go, all have large carto options. In the 510 style there are moderately large "XL" cartos offered that are quite good, and even larger cartos than the "XL" size. A 510 "ego" setup would be the least expensive, and most versatile move.

Everyone will have a different opinion. I will offer what I use, and I will preface it with what I have used: RN4081, Element 3.3V battery, GLV2 Super Mini 3.7V, Gold Rush 5V battery and Volcano Inferno 3.7 V Ego. My Volcano is my favorite.. great battery life, nice draw. I also use Ikenvape cartos. I prefer the Gold V-2's but they have a great mega carto that will hold a ton of juice.

It takes some hit & misses, but you will find what works for you. Best wishes!!

I'll second the Ikenvape 510 cartos. I've used the XL Low resistance one I believe you're referring to (the "ton of juice" one), quite a bit, and it's excellent. The new dual coil smoketech's are good as well, and now available in multiple resistances (the original 1.4-1.6 ohm was just way too low for my taste). There are a lot of choices in the 510 market these days. Boge makes a great 2.0ohm carto as well.

The main difference is, nobody is going to confuse your "ego" with an analog, and you won't hold it like one either. You'll be carrying a large battery around, with a large carto on the end. Subtle, you will not be. If that's not a problem, then the 808 probably wasn't the right match for you in the first place.

I have gotten some cartos from myvaporstore and some from another place cant remember but they have alittle black wire sticking out those are the worst and wont hold but a few drops the others i put 20 drops in, the drip tip idea sounds good, wont be searching the car for something to pop the cap off to refill, i did used to take a couple filled ones with me, now most of my extras are filled with flavors i dont like...so i will go search for the jumbo cartomizers and drip tips, the fluxomizers looked neat but not in stock...thnx

For in the car and around the desk you might enjoy an inexpensive 5v USB passthrough and a car adaptor.

It'll give you a little hotter hit (more like smoking cigs) with shorter burn times using the same 3ohm KR808 cartos that are most common (like the ones at myvaporstore). Note, this doesn't fix your running out of juice problem or anything, but it is a very inexpensive way to feel those cartos real vaping potential. 5v is a pretty sweet spot on typical KR808 cartos.

Tonya,

Those with the filler and black wire sound like the Bogue Cartos that I now prefer. Initially I could not get them to take more than 8-10 drops of juice and they quickly tasted bad so I was discouraged. I found the trick to be actually getting them full on the first fill (they are not very absorbent when dry). I do my first fill with a syringe pushing the needle to the bottom of the filler and adding 1.2 ml of liquid (leaving the threaded end carto condom in place during this process). This ensures a good first fill; on subsequent fills just dripping into the filler is fine and will take 15-20 drops.
