I've built this rba with several different types of coils and different resistance kanthal. I've gone as low as .8 ohms and as high as 2.4, always using a cotton wick and EVERY time I end up with a burnt taste! Some builds are better than others but the end result is always the same. 2 questions:

1. Is anyone experiencing this issue?
2. Can anyone offer some advice?

thank you in advance. Running this rba on provari v2.5 I've had the best results on a higher resistance build with the fill hole unplugged.

Welcome to the ECF forums, I found new joy with my rsst. I am running a 1.2 micro coil with 28 guage and I think 1/16 drill bit with cotton like the video below. I also drilled the top cap out to 5/64 which helps get the air to the coil to avoid the burnt taste.

Try my idea, it works great on my mech.
