I'm sitting on several bottles of juice from different suppliers, and I'm not thrilled with any of them. All the flavors are really too subtle for me. I've tried extra flavor options, different types of cartos/attys, etc. but to no avail. I've tried a bunch of vendors that others seem to enjoy, but again nothing that blew me away. I'm really sick of ordering stuff every few days, I feel like I'm just tossing my cash into the wind, and my wife is starting to look at me like I'm some kind of freak. I enjoy vaping and want to continue, but just really feeling frustrated with the weakness of juice flavors. Am I alone here??? Too bad there isn't some way to try before you buy...

For what its worth, and I'm sure someone will ask, I'm using a Riva SE, and don't have any plans on dumping any more cash on PV's, and probably not a taste bud issue any longer since I've been analog free for almost 6 months.

I went through a period like that where nothing tasted good to me. I started just keeping some DIY items around for that and I always have a mix of unflavored liquid around. It's nothing to rave about, slightly sweet with no discernible flavor, but it gets the job done and it goes with everything. It's also really really inexpensive.

Your taste buds will come and go throughout vaping. Sometimes mine are kicking and my favorite flavors are just too much and sometimes I can't taste a thing which is when the unflavored comes in handy.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems finding a go to vape. It seems to be the biggest hurdle for most vapers.

Good thought, but I only have one friend that vapes, and I've already unloaded a couple of bottles on him. Bleh! I feel like some kind of addict chasing a high that will never come.

I think you could also try the classified section on this website, though shipping costs could make selling small bottles of juices rather prohibitive.

When did you quit analogs, or are you still sneaking a few? It seems everyone's (or at least most people's) sense of taste improves over a few weeks/months after quitting all together.

If you're looking for stronger...I'd suggest mint, menthol, or cinnamon.

Good advice Maureen, I have tried those, and I should have stated that they are the exception. Now to be a really picky jerk, cinnamon and menthol were the complete opposite for me, way to over powered, but then again I'm not really a mint, or cinnamon fan to begin with. I tried mixing the cinnamon with vanilla too, I figured maybe I could balance the flavors but that turned out with a real funky taste, but at least I could taste it I suppose.

Ya beat me to it, Maureen :D.

I'd try some menthol/mints (my all-day-vape is DIY peppermint). I wan't a menthol smoker; but I've been vaping my peppermint juice for a looong time now and am still enjoying it.

A lot of juice vendors sell sample packs, if you haven't been buying those definitely try that route.

Also, if you have a large stash of juice that you aren't using, check out selling on the classifieds or check out the PIF forum.

Good Luck on the QUEST!

Not sure where you are located but I go to The Vaporium in Lakewood/Tacoma and try all sorts of juices for free. She will let you try them for hours on end if you want. Or you can go to the Volcano Cafe in Olympia. They are friendly but not as much as the Vaporium folks. Either way you can try all sorts of flavors. I travel down their from Kent all the time. Also there is a place in Aberdeen but never been inside yet.

Your side of the state gets all the good stuff dirquist! Unfortunately I'm from Eastern Washington, in Spokane. We have a place here, that will let you try stuff, but they run about $12 for 10ml, which is way overpriced IMO, and I think their juice isn't anything above decent (not sure if decent is even the right word because it's barely that) anyway.

I agree with all above. Do take a look at Pay It Forward and letting us know what you have liked and "kind of liked" may be helpful. Personally also I like stronger flavors so I often order 2x (or more) flavor addition to my order. I love strong coffee and find Koeke Coffee really good but a lot of people hate it. If you use the classified, you might use your "take" to get into some simple DIY so you can control your own flavoring.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the PIF advice, I'm putting together a couple of PIF packs now.

Also for those that asked I kinda like fruity flavors, would love a good Juicy Fruit gum type of flavor, I also kinda like a couple of the Root Beer, and Cola flavors I've gotten. I had a small bottle of Cotton Candy that I liked, and I ordered a large bottle and it tasted like poo, ordered another small bottle later and again poo, I tried a Banana that I liked then they stopped carrying it, tried other Banana flavors and again with the weak/subtle flavor. I've tried a ton of bakery type flavors and have sort of liked a couple, but the others were again either really weak, or tasted like I was licking a stick of butter. Then I've done the menthol, cinnamon thing, I do have to say that I could taste these, but not really to my liking, they were sooooooo strong that they burned my throat (can't win either way it seems). I tried to cut them with other flavors but they were just too overpowering.

There are a couple of vendors that I'd like to try, but they are a tad pricey, and I'm really sick of blowing cash, although the PIF may be the answer to that.

Blah, blah, blah, complain, complain, etc. Sorry if I seem really negative, I'm really just frustrated.
