Hello, All

I am currently vaping on an Innokin CoolFire TC100 mod with a Isub tank using a 0.5 ohm SS coil. I like to vape in temperature control SS mode at around 400*-425* with the wattage set at 45. When this works, I get a very pleasing vape (for me) and I notice the wattage starts out in the low 40's, stays there for a bit, and then tapers down into the 20's in order to keep the coil at the right temperature. From what I understand of temperature control, that's what's supposed to happen. Unfortunately, the other half of the time I get a very airy unsatisfying and rather tasteless vape. When this occurs I notice that rather than the wattage starting out in the low 40's and then tapering down, the wattage is starting out in the mid 20's and tapering down extremely fast into the teens.

At first, I thought that perhaps I was chain vaping and overheating the coil which caused the low wattage starting vapes but I've noticed this often occurs when the unit hasn't been vaped on as well. I also removed the old coil and installed a brand new SS coil with no impact. Interestingly, if I change to wattage mode and take a few vapes at 40 watts and then move back into SS mode on my original settings, it seems to fix the problem. But, the vape seems rather hot regardless of my temperature setting after doing this and so I'm wondering whether it is fixing the problem or just throwing me back into wattage mode. Anyway, I'd greatly appreciate any advice. I realize a new mod is what would really fix the problem but I am hoping to at least get the TC100 vaping consistently.

Thanks!!
