Awhile back I received a bad pack of cartos from FSUSA. I sent them back and they replaced them with a different kind. However, the new ones are bare metal. I hate the way they feel and with no "insulation" around them, they can get too hot. I've tried a carto condom with a hole in it, over the end and didn't like that. I also tried wrapping painter's tape around them, which helps but is a pain in the ..... Although I'm sold on the juices from FSUSA, they can keep their cartos. These are the probably the worst cartos I've ever tried.

Interesting. I'm not familiar with the ones from FSUSA, but I've used the bare metal cartos from many other places and actually prefer them....it's mainly an aesthetic thing, imo. I use a drip tip with my cartos though so I've never experienced any kind of heat issue.

+1 tigerlily -- using a drip tip makes a world of difference with a hot carto...

I didn't realize other companies sold bare metal ones. Not my cup of tea.

I am using Genuine Joye cartos from FSUSA. They work great and I have no problems with them, except that, since April, FSUSA seems to be perpetually "Out of Stock" on the black ones.
