kick bass is way better in all ways

Definitely a personal opinion. To me many things are better as well, but I can assure you quality of the juice is equal. As as you can see, many many others prefer FSUSA. To each his own.

I usually order my flavors with extra flavor. But I find some I find over powering with extra flavor I always order my juices in small quanties both standard and double flavor, especially my all day vapes.

When I dislike a popular vendor's juice, it's usually because of the very thing that everyone else loves about their juice... for example... I don't like flavourart... so I won't like FSUSA and other companies that use flavourart.

I don't negatively review a flavourart juice because I can't be objective and I also realize that it is top of the line flavoring and that I just have some unique aversion to it... I miss FSUSA's RY4... was and still is one of my favs... unfortunately flavourart makes me sickly. Great juice though.

I'm not sure what flavourart is, but now that I know FSUSA uses it I'll make sure that the next vendor I order from does not, because maybe I just don't like flavourart.

Now, I understand that some people are going to feel my review is a personal stab at their favorite vendor, but I never intended it to be that way. I figured since there is a review section I had the right to give a honest review. Nowhere does it say that all reviews posted should be positive.

As a "newbie" I don't go searching for only positive reviews, I am interested in the negatives as well. There are tons and tons of positive reviews for FSUSA juices and that's the reason I ordered from them, so I was VERY surprised when I didn't like any of the flavors, but then after searching around I did find a few negative FSUSA juice reviews. While I'm sure I would have still ordered from them if I had read the negative reviews before I ordered, it would have been nice to know that FSUSA isn't for everyone.

I'm not here to bash FSUSA or ANY vendor for that matter, and I highly doubt my review is going to influence their many fans, but for Newbies like me, jumping into the world of e-liquids it's nice to know that the much loved liquids aren't for everyone.
I just know personally I DON'T ignore negative reviews, even if I love what's being reviewed.

You have every right to give a subjective review, whether negative or positive. You clearly state why you dont like it. I find your post truly brings on a productive conversation about taste. They flavorart flavoring may be what clashes with my tastebuds too.

I know many vendors will use some flavorings from many distributers depending on what they like for thier juices (My favorite juice is a mix of 5 different flavors)

So, thank you for the constructive review. I doubt you will be flamed for your review.

I understand your loyalty to BWB but if you want to jump ship to KBV we will not tell......

because most negative reviews aren't descriptive... they are typically people amusing themselves with their own wit or venting...

***and obviously, people who feel a personal connection to a vendor feel compelled to give another side of the experience...

You can and should expect some kind of backlash when you post a negative review about anyone, because some people love the vendor... I don't blame the fanboys/fangirls.

Most of the time, I can see an OP flaw in the neg review... like Malice, improper use or faulty expectations based on poor research. Many of the Neg reviews are when someone rushes on to ECF and posts a review minutes after trying the juice...

That said, your "neg" review was more useful -

however, I would hope that you let those FSUSA juices steep before diving into reviews.
vendor. perhaps you did.

Most vendors have an MO (can't think of another way to word it) --- their MO might be lighter flavor... a particular flavor company they use... a perfumy undertone... a strength or weakness in their base... and the love threads are people who appreciate the particular vendors MO...

I have never tried KBV and likely won't - for the same reason I don't buy Ms. T's and TV... but they seem to get a lot of love... as do BWB and Vaperite... before you buy them... simply because each has a large fan base, find out why people like them... I love BWB for precisely the exact reason some people don't like them... the lighter, complex flavor... BWB reviews are funny, because the fans use the best metaphors to describe the flavor... because the flavors don't pop out and whack you in the face... and the criticisms always sound the same... I didn't get any flavor.... etc... I always think, you know you wanted a lot of flavor... so why'd you buy a juice that is consistently prided for it's complex and subtle flavors?

FSUSA has one of the larger fan bases out there and it because people think they make awesome juice... which you didn't like.
Personally, I think your first sample set looked a little eclectic anyway ;-) FSUSA makes more than a hundred flavors... try the more tried and true samples...

anyway friend, so much good juice out there... and FSUSA is just as popular as the ones you haven't tried... so choose your next one wisely.

We could help you choose more wisely if you describe what your ideal juice would taste like.

I know for sure it was not the primmer on the atties. I know what that taste like... unfortunately. I've tried other liquids from another supplier with the same atties and catos and those were fine. Plus, like I said in my original post, I used not only atties but also brand new cartos, and I tried and re-tried all the flavors numerous times. I also let them steep for 2 weeks (for the first order) and one week for the second order and tried them all again yesterday before giving my review and they all tasted the same as the day I got them.

As for steeping, I have no intention on spending money on something I have to wait to use. I said this in another post, but could you imagine when you smoked if every time you bought a pack of analogs you had to let the pack "steep" for a month? I need an all-day vape, so I need something that can be used straight out of the mail. I'm going to keep trying these FSUSA flavors to see if I notice any difference with age, but honestly if I have to wait to love a flavor, then it's just not worth it.

I know that it sound easier to chalk up my bad experience to human error or bad equipment, but that's just not the case. Yes I may be new to vaping, but I've researched quite a lot. The problems with burnt atties and primmer was week one, luckily I'm a fast learner and I'm not still making those mistakes at week 5 :)

Oh, and Atsirk, I do believe I could be a "super taster" I'm a woman and a vegetarian (not sure if either of those things make a difference) . I know for sure that I have a "super smeller" meaning I have a very sensitive nose and tend to smell things that others can't. People love me at wine tasting parties.

It's really hard for me not to mistaken the taste of heavy whipping cream and Jalapeno in the RY4, but on the other hand when my roommate tried it (he smokes) he said it tasted like blue cotton candy. Oh how I wish that's what I tasted.

By the way thank you to those of you who suggested other vendors.

*EDIT*
Godzilla, I've looked around to see if others had similar problems with FSUSA and did find that some do, which is good to know! I'll definitely be looking into the vendors you suggested, knowing that you too didn't care for the FSUSA liquids. Thank you!

well buying analogs and buying eliquid is certainly VERY different things...if steeping makes my juice yummy..then yeah i'm gonna steep...ESPECIALLY since i spend lots of money on juice....that said..if you continue having problems maybe you should try magic mask or something similar...to remove the perfumey taste....taste is subjective...i might like a flavor from one and the same flavor from another not so much...tons of vendors...i am sure you will find someone you like, takes time....good luck...:)

It was a fair review...we need to be open to the good, bad, and otherwise on this forum.

The FSUSA community is very passionate about this vendor and the quality juices/hardware they provide.

David & the Team at FSUSA work very hard to bring us top quality juices. In all my vapes with their liquid, I have only scored one negative review (Nutella, perhaps because of the chocolate, difficult to replicate), every other juice I’ve either recommended or highly recommended.

I'm steeping about half of my 2Litres of FSUSA juice as we speak. Perhaps that's the issue...let them steep and then let the juices speak… :)

I understand about steeping, and even though I'm normally a very patient person I can't wrap my head around buying something (something that I need right now, aka Nicotine) and having to wait for it to taste good. That's why I compared it to buying a pack of analogs. If I bought a pack of smokes, tried one as soon as I got them and didn't like the taste I wouldn't buy them again and I would look for a brand I could smoke right away. Even if I re-tried that first pack a month later and it tasted better why would I spend my money on a pack of analogs I have to wait to enjoy when I could buy a pack I can enjoy right away?

Honestly I feel this entire steeping thing would end up making me waste money. If after a month I try FSUSA thin mint cookie again and LOVE it I would know that I would have to stock up and set it aside for a month before I could enjoy it again, and that's not what I'm looking for.

This is actually one of the biggest things you need to consider when you are looking for a vendor. If the vendor 'fresh mixes' their juice, you will usually need to steep that juice for a period of time. And actually, when you buy that pack of analogs, it has been 'steeped' (or aged) by the manufacturer in the time spent making, packaging, shipping and stocking that item.

So... what you need to look for in a vendor is one that has specific flavors 'in stock'- someone who keeps a supply of juice on hand to fill orders, then the 'steeping' time has already been taken care by the time that it hits your mailbox.

Another thing to consider is your preference for pg/vg ratios, as these will change the taste too.

Since you seem to have an interest in tobacco flavors, have you tried Totally Wicked's tobacco flavors? They are not my cup of tea at all, but they have a large tobacco line. I have ordered from them, and have not had any difficulties.
Don't worry, taste is very subjective, and it will take a while for you to find your go to vape. It may end up being from a vendor that fresh mixes, but you can order far enough ahead to let it sit while you finish your current stash. I now use Velvet Vapors for my ejuice- she mixes fresh, but since I know what flavors I really like, I can order a month ahead, and by the time I need to break into the 'new' stuff, it has already steeped, and my next order is on it's way to Kat. I like to stay at least 1 month ahead for ejuice, since I live in NY and aside from the idiot politicians, I have the weather issues to think about.
Good Luck in your quest

RandomMusing: Personally, I started DIY due to the over rated juice vendors. The perfume smell is terrible in some vendors brew. At least when I make my "brew" I know whats in it. I wish I would have thought about this many months ago. I am at the research and development stage. I have most of my equipment. I am just lacking my tobacco flavorings.

I made a granny smith apple menthol this past week. It did not need to steep. The flavor was the same from mix date to the last drop.

I will never say I won't order from a juice vendor. However, I am finding the juice making quite fun and cheap to make.
If I buy a juice I want it to be good from the start! I have bought allot of juice only to be disappointed. Allot of money wasted.

There are two kinds of steeping. There is buying a larger quantity of a juice you know you already like straight out of the mailbox and letting some of it age because you know (or heard) improves with age. Then there is letting a juice you don't care for steep in the (possibly vain) hope that it somehow becomes better. The first kind makes a lot of sense, especially with juice vendors who make their liquids pretty much the day you order them. The second kind I do not have a lot of patience for.

On the other hand, unless you are going to throw or give them away, you might as well throw those samples you don't like in a drawer and check them again in a month when you are bored. You never know...

debb is undoubtedly right about it getting easier to steep. You and I are both in the try many flavors phase of our vaping experience. Once we have a nice supply of juices we know we like on hand, letting some other ones age will be easier to do.

Most definitely! I'm planning on keeping these samples and letting them steep for even longer. Who knows maybe I'll like some of them with time, but my main concern now is to find a juice I like and can use out of the mail. Honestly though if after two weeks the RY4 still tasted the same as the day I got it, then I don't know how much it could change after a few more weeks. That Jalapeno taste really stood out....

RandomMusing, just for a point of reference, what juice flavors/vendors have you found so far that you do enjoy?

The first e-cig I got was the SafeCig which came with prefilled cartos. I actually really liked the tobacco flavor they offered.
I've tried a few different prefilled cartos from LiquidXpress and the original tobacco flavor in the juice. The Tobacco right now is my all-day vape, but it's a bit sweet and like my tobacco flavors less sweet. Still not back. The Carnilla Cap in the prefilled carto is very yummy, and I'll probably be ordering the juice, but I can't see using it as an all-day vape.

Based on this, I would recommend VaporStations's Texas and Tampa (more so Texas). These are both extremely non-sweet tobaccos. VS's flavorings are not the Chinese (perfumy) or currently in-vogue American flavors (usually sweet). I would be very, very surprised if neither of these floated your boat. I keep a bottle of Texas handy for when I finally get tired of "flavors".

I've ordered from a number of vendors and found good and not so good (to my taste) juices from each. A lot of people may rave about a particular juice from a particular supplier and when you get yours it's not even in the running for top 10.

So far, the best I've found is from BWB. There's no perfume taste in Don's juices and they all are great. Naturally, some are better than others, but only one has been a disappointment. That was Waffle. I was expecting waffle with syrup and could barely taste anything waffly and certainly no maple sweetness. I'll let that one steep.

OTOH, I've ordered 555, Malty Toffee, Blast, Applewood, and Dulce de Leche from BWB. All were great. Blast is a cinnamon flavor that I'd like some sweetness mixed into, but it's as advertised. I'll probably add some Lorann caramel or cotton candy to a small amount and experiment. I'll do the same with the waffle.

The point is that most of us will love a few juices from several vendors and find some that we wouldn't reorder. It's just the way the business is. Samples are good ways to experiment. Eventually you will find that 3ml bottle you wish had been a 30ml bottle and you have a keeper.
