I have the Fuhattan mod with the mickey mouse finger on the button. i have one problem with it and it is driving me crazy. i even made the made my atty sit flush on my fuhattan and there is no gaps anywhere. my mod just seems to not fire half of the time but when it does it hits like a train. and its just driving me crazy. anybody having the same problems? please help me out here because this is really pissing me off. but i have considered ordering the authentic manhattan replacement top pins and authentic gold plated bottom contact.

Im also using a samsung 18650 25 r on a 5 wrap 22g

Um.. What ohms are you at?

If you're less than .2 ohms (which I think you might be) you're exceeding your battery's amp limits. Misfires, if you are indeed as low ohm as I suspect, are probably because your battery can't output what you're demanding from it. (Quite unsafe).

If this is the case, you need to rebuild before you hurt yourself.

im doing a dual coil. the battery rattles when i shake it side to side but it doesnt rattle when i shake it up and down.

Sounds like you need to get a tighter connection on the firing pin/button.

Can you tighten up the battery in there anymore? Ideally you want no battery rattle, vertical or horizontal.

Okay... I just did some math and a lot of things don't add up....
If you are using 22g wire, dual coils, and each coil has 5 wraps, and your end resistance is 0.4 ohms.... you must have wrapped it around a 10mm mandrel.... those are some HUGE coils, and I'd hate to see the size of your atomizer... How certain are you that you are at 0.4 ohms, and what did you use to measure them?

Yeah, when I was doing the math to figure it out I couldn't get a coil higher than .2 ohms, given the minimal amount of information.

It's possible there's a lot of space between each coil.

Nope... it's about the amount of wire used... X inches of wire has Z amount of resistance... space isn't going to give you more resistance...

Lol.. In order to make more space between each coil, he'd be using more wire. Y'dig?

Like if I don't micro them out, I can make a 26ga 3-wrap coil come out to 1 ohm.

It seems to me that no matter how much space I put in the coils, it has minimum impact on total resistance.... just sayin'...

Hm.. I could be wrong here (second-guessing what I thought I knew..)

It seems to me though, that if you build a micro coil you have minimal slack in the wire, because you're using the slack to make more coils. In a standard coil, you'd have extra slack, would you not?

That means longer length of wire, correct?..

Not really... build a micro coil and measure it... then space it out. It'll measure the same... BUT it'll decrease your internal diameter a little bit (more decrease with more spacing).
Point being, you wouldn't be adding enough wire with spacing to make much of a difference... .0X is about all the difference you're gonna get with *pre* spacing the coil.

*edit to clarify*
