the black one still have unused black space on the sides but not as much as the ECF1

I just tried ECF-1 and I get about a Slider to slide the Screen Left to Right about 1/4 of an Inch.

IE9 @ 1024 x 768

I bet your running a Higher Resolution than 1024 x 768.

1024 x 768 is Old Folks Resolution.

BTW - Running "Mobile" at 1280 x 1024 seems to work fine.

on this laptop I can't use a bigger resolution, I am a geezer but i use young people resolution on my working puters

FF 15.0.1 here with Vista running at 1680x1050. ECF1 and Kirsch 2 are not expanding to "wide". Blackened and Blackened Red are.

I was running "default" skin until this evening and it worked fine.

I have the same issue, it fits great on my 10.1" tablet running dolphin but doesn't fit the page in firefox or IE on win 7 1600x900

Same problem here, started sometime last night... Windows 7 with Google Chrome at 1680x1050 resolution.
And it's also happening on my laptop which is Windows 7 with Google Chrome at 1366x768 resolution.

EDITED TO ADD: Like others have said, the problem is happening with ECF-1 and Kirsch-1 but not the blackened.

Same for me, Win 7Pro, FF 15.01 @ 1920x1200 res (26" monitor). Started last night, dumped cache, etc. ECF-1 and Kirsch. My screen looks like Pete's Every other web page and forum look fine.

As was stated by Valsacar earlier the reason that the pages display in this manner on the new skin are related to the coding and how the page is being presented to your browser at higher resolutions. This is going to require our coders do some extra work to account for high resolution users. I've put in a note for Harry and the code crew to look into fixing this.

It is being looked into but I would say that it probably will not happen until Monday at the earliest.

OK this is the situation: the new ECF 1 skin is fixed width and will stay like this as we need one of this type.

A new one, ECF 2, will be created next week that is the same skin but fluid width - it will expand left and right if you have a big screen.

Then, a dark version in fixed width and fluid width will be built.
