OK this is the situation: the new ECF 1 skin is fixed width and will stay like this as we need one of this type.

A new one, ECF 2, will be created next week that is the same skin but fluid width - it will expand left and right if you have a big screen.

Then, a dark version in fixed width and fluid width will be built.

Thank you Roly and the Entire ECF Team for all the work in getting the code together.

Some gfx don't stretch and get wrecked, simple fast code, page always displays exactly how the designer set it, some browser/computer combinations work better, mobile devices that choose to use PC skins may work better, some issues are easier to troubleshoot, fluid width introduces new issues, a display issue can be sorted out first and easiest on a preset width skin, no 'load jiggle' as a page is loading and trying to set itself correctly, some users prefer a set width even on a large screen, no need to set browsing in a window for large screen users who don't want the whole page used when another app is being used on top at one side, avoidance of odd display issues on assorted browser/screen combinations that are sometimes hard or impossible to fix, less work for coders, etc.

I'm partial to Blackend. High contrast, I prefer the background dark rather than light, and it resizes based on width.

When it all shakes out we will have a dark skin in both fluid and fixed widths. I find the dark skins are easier on my old tired eyes.
