Alight about a week ago I ordered an 18350 charger that came with an IMR 18350 battery from ebay, it came yesterday. I plugged it in right away and started to charge the battery, for some reason it stayed on red for a long time. I thought it was pretty odd, but about 5 hours later it finally was finally on green. I had also had tested it in my magneto about 2 times when it was charging to see if it even worked and it did. Once it hit green i popped it in to my magneto, pressed the fire button and nothing. So I cleaned the threads and connection think that was the problem. Tried again and nothing happened, i was stumped. I had threw in another 18350 I had in to the charger already. >>>$4.39 ICR18350 18350 3.7V "900mAh" Rechargeable Lithium Battery - acural capaticy 799.1mAh at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping.

So i let it charge up a bit, tried it and it fired (it was still on red light thought). I took it out of the charger when I went to bed fearing the same thing that happened to the IMR would happen to this battery. I woke up put the battery in the charger went to go shower and when i came back it was green. So i put it in my magneto hoping it would work but nothing. I down to my last 18350. And all my other batteries are coming in the mail so i don't really want to mess up this one up.

Any advise on this? are these batteries just dead now? I dont know if its the charger or what. This never happened with my other charger.

I have batteries on the way that arm much better and were recommended to me through here.

Can anyone recommend me a good charger for 18350 through 18650?
They batteries look quite poor and the charger looks pointless.

You take your chance with this stuff.

However, most batteries will work (even if not at the advertised mAh rating...) and SilverZero is correct. Start with the charger.

I like that nitecore, i think I'm gonna go with that one i don't want to take and more chances
thanks for the help guys
Pila - if you can afford it. I can't. I have an Xtar and a NiteCore. I haven't had any problems with either, but I'm sure there must be people who have. I rarely find anything that hasn't screwed up for at least one person.

RTD vapor seems a great place for batteries and chargers around here.

    Some places re-label crap batteries.

Multimeters are inexpensive and narrow problems down quickly. Saves you from ruining batteries, PV's, and atties.

Having a lipo bag for charging and a carrying case for xtra batteries makes things less worrisome.

Do not Buy anything.............Except a cheap multimeter.
Not buying that 2 batteries charged and show charged and do nothing.
Most likely as stated. defective unit.
First get the meter and check the batteries.
Next test the unit with a partially discharged battery. If it fires it is seeing less Push or lower voltage and running.
    A battery is normally 3.7v
Fully charged it may be 4.2v and tripping the unit.
    4.2v is safe and correct

I also do not see what you are running, ohms wise. If below 2.0 you can try something higher to reduce load and the Mag might work.
