I'm a newb and it's my first post. I have been using the V4L batteries for about a week now and today I noticed a really bad taste when vaping. The taste I've been getting is the same kind of taste you would get if you lit the filter side of a real cigarette by mistake; its like a really foul funky taste. I even get the taste using brand new pre filled carts (I have V4L, Volt, and Halo G6 carts and have tried all of them today.) Any ideas why this is happening? I have 4 short batteries (only used them for a couple days) and 1 78mm, and get the same thing on all of them.

For some reason carts did that to me about a week in, all of them no matter what I tried. I switched to using the standard atty and tank that come with my ego and everything tasted fine. Tried a carto same favors as before a few days later and taste was back to normal again. I think some of it had to do with the whole tastebud recovery after smoking lol but I do know at least one of those cartos had been burned, but not the other 3.
ive been using v4l cartos for about a 5 days. tried a few volt and halo carts for the first time yesterday and they both tasted great all day yesterday and most of today. once i started getting the problem i tried v4l, volt, and halo carts. the ones i've been using and fresh ones that i just opened as wel. still get the funky taste from all of them. i have carts in different strengths. 11mg v4l, 18mg v4l, 12mg volt, 18mg volt, and 18 mg halo
Just a suggestion, but if you started getting the bad taste it sounds as if you you burned one. The first time I burned a carto, I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth for 2 days and it wasn't just with vaping. Nothing tasted right. It really did a number on my taste buds. I thought it was my equipment too and tried all kinds of different liquids, cartos, atomizers etc and everything tasted crappy. After a few days, everything went back to normal.
Bear in mind that it only took one good burnt puff to have that effect. This may not be the case with you, but it just struck me as so similar to what happened to me way back then that I felt I should comment on it.
unfortunately its not the case. im actually also using a 510 prefilled carto on a different style battery and it tastes really good, so it isnt a bad taste in my mouth
