So I was reading Skullbones thread about Visine bottles, and it reminded me about something that happened to me last week.

I work in front of a computer so my contacts frequently dry out. I have always kept a bottle of drops next to my desk. I use it enough, that I really don't have to even look to pick it up, open it, and put some drops in.

I started vaping, and bringing all of my supplies to work. Without even thinking how stupid this was, I put my small, plastic, eyedrop bottle shaped, juice bottle on my desk.

Its lunch time, and my contacts start bothering me. Im typing away, then pause for a second to put some drops in.

In Andys head: "wow I hate how these drops always burn a little....hmm its still burning......damn this is really starting to hurt wtf.....OHHHHH **** IM A .....!!"

I ran to the bathroom and rinsed my eye out. The burning stopped pretty much right away. but the menthol crystals in my juice left my eye feeling extremely fresh for the rest of the day!

Wow, you were lucky! I did the same thing when I first started vaping. I use eyedrops once a day, in the morning. Of course, I was on here reading and reached for the drops. Threw my head back and squeezed the bottle and thought...wow, this bottle is hard to squeeze!

Yeh, it was my e-juice and thankfully, I didn't squeeze it hard enough to get a drop out. It was 36mg....don't know what would have happened.....glad I didn't have to find out 8-o

Trust me though, it hasn't happened again :p

You're lucky nothing happened to you! You should get one of those eyeball flushers in chemistry labs LOL!

I also use eyedrops daily, because of my contacts and for "redness relief" but this would never happen to me, I'm not so distracted. Maybe you should use odd-shaped eyedrops, like Visine.

Lu..Ive actually gotten some 36mg in my eye before. It didn't really hurt because I flushed it right away. It was scary for a minute though, thought for sure I would be blind lol.

Lesson learned: when cleaning a 901 atomizer, blow out thru it and not into the hollow part!

I've gotten menthol e-juice in my eye as well. But my juice had menthol crystals dissolved in it, to give it a stronger flavor...

One of the tips on one of my plastic bottle was clogged ( the dripper part was clogged ), So I took a can of air and blew into it ( via the big end that goes into the bottle ). Yeah...Juice flew out of the thing, and a good sized drop went right into my left eye.

I hurried up and started washing my eyes out with water, but to my dismay, It wasn't helping because my fingers had the menthol juice on them as well! Once I realized this, I had to use my pinky and ring fingers to get water into my eye.

My eye was then feeling cool and fresh for the rest of the day. :D
