My Daughter works at Taco Bell. Last night while at work a co-worker hurries up to her and says OMG there are people doing drugs in the drive-thru!! My daughter being my daughter of course had to go look she started laughing and said no they aren't, my parents use those, they're e-cigarettes and they are to help them quit smoking. I'm so proud of my daughter!!

Smart gal. I'm just surprised an employee of TB was shocked that someone was using drugs... here in NM it's a given. That's not fair... but a coder I worked with who had worked at TB said everyone at his location was doing one drug or another...

Most of our TB employees in our town are high school kids. And yes I know HS kids do drugs, I used to be in HS not long ago...lol... (seems like it anyway) but most of these kids are pretty clean cut, like my daughter is in ROTC and LIVES it. She actually cleaned up her act because of it. (proud mama)

I've got a couple friends that live up in Smithville... one with kids the other w/out. Visited them a few times and those kids are clean cut as you put it. One "kid" just joined the Air Force Academy last year and the other other was working towards it, but recently got diagnosed with brain cancer and is undergoing chemo now.

In the car I generally have one of my Sin City mods with me simply because they fit the cup holder best. I have gotten more than one or two shocked looks at the drive through....

Has also been the subject of conversation with the local PD...

Yes indeed - things are going good so far - it's amazing how resilient "kids" are... and yes MO, nice little town and close enough to the city - really enjoyed the lake.

Oh yeah, Smithville is nice, My sister used to camp at that lake every year. My ex bro in-law still does with his family every Labor Day weekend I hope your friends son is ok. Still sad!!
