Fusions, DCC Cartos and Boge 3.0's

Well, just burned my first carto....bought a couple of tanks (Smoketechs).....they are set up using dcc carto (1.5's)....I'm not real impressed. The 3'0s are way way better IMHO. Going to fill the new M1A1 this eve. using a 3.0. My 5mil tank (smoketech was filled properly, primed, etc...and tasted yuk burnt) then decided to die after that.

Overall I'm not real thrilled with the tastes from the dcc's and thought to share. Am looking forward to the Fusions and will get some when in stock. One would think there wouldn't be much of a difference, if anything, the dcc's should provide more vapor and better flavor....not finding that to be true.

I'm been referred to Ikenvap for fusion cartos and they were out of stock. But I saw on Electronicstix sells them as well. Are they not created the same?

This is mostly in reference to your comment that they were not in stock. Sorry if my comment derail the thread.

NOT THE SAME, I bought some from Electronicstix (sorry Isaac), some were OK, others defiantly NOT OK. I know you want Fusions but you will be better off waiting for Ikenvap to get his in, especially since you don’t know how great the real Fusions are you won’t be able to tell the OK from NOT OK’S.

Oh, didn't know that. It was my first time ordering them and I saw that Iken was out of stock so I found Electronicstix. Are they really that bad or should they work in the mean time?

I think they'll still work Sand.....but not give you the true "Fusion-experience" that everyone loves. Correct me if I am wrong all you Fusion-fanatics as I only know what I've read to date. (still need to try them on for size myself!)

I am very satisfied with the boge 3.0. I run mine 1/3 to 1/2 between yellow and red on the dial.

These things definately last ALOT longer when used in a tank.

Anyone else who carries a carto called Fusion is trying to ride on Isaac's good name. Do yourself a huge favor and wait until Ikenvape gets more if you want to know what the real Fusion vapes like!

Ark I like the 3.0 Boges too and I get mine from Bruce over at Clouds of Vapor. If you ever notice a funny taste to a new carto, take the condoms and cap off and let them breath overnight. It will air out that weird chemical taste before you fill them

That is a great suggestion Bov. You know....maybe this should be done for all cartos. This dcc after filling and priming (the one in the tank) made the VR Kentucky Vanilla taste a bit...err....can't find the words but not as tasty as I'm used to. Today the flavor has been much better without that "chemical" taste.

Iken's Fusion LR's are in stock. They are 2 ohm and work very well.

I've known Isaac for about a year and a half (through hour long phone calls) and know that he is pretty active in overseeing the manufacturing of the products he has his name on. He has even gone so far as to ship american milled nichrome wire to use for the coils in some of his attys. There IS a difference. Anyone else who has a similar product is getting typically mass produced guts in the same shell. The coil, mesh tube and fiber wrap in IKV Fusions are made to Ikenvape specs.
At least that's what I've been led to believe.

I stocked up on Fusions awhile back and since I changed juice vendors my cartos are lasting longer than they used to.
A fusion in the tank makes for a great vape! I will use Boge cartos sometimes and have to admit it is also good, but I can't do without my Fusions. Reminds me I better check and stock up again soon.
