FW Virginia Fire Cured

So I have a large bottle of flavoring from FW and cannot get a decent mix for the life of me. Anyone have any success with this stuff? This and TFA DK tobacco. I know steeping and the ratio is key, but I just can't grasp it apparently.

It seems people have had the best luck using this as an additive to tobaccos, opposed to a stand alone flavor. I've tried it at 5-10% and didn't care for it by itself.
